I might start buying merch again this year. It has nothing to do with management. It's the first year in a few that I might be able to wear some of it. The bombers don't really sell fat guy sizing. Do

  • The last game played at Taylor Field will be the most important game in the history of the stadium. The end of a era. The memories of days gone by will be missed. Children growing up and going to game

  • Really like this. All the best, Alex (Suber) !

Re: Montreal...

They’re far and away the oldest team in the CFL for the second consecutive season. They have nineteen veterans in their thirties, which is a mind-blowing amount given scouting departments ability to find players and replacements every year, reiterating Popp’s desperation. It’s a terribly, terribly high number, not to mention that much of those players make up the core of Montreal’s roster. - BomberBuzz

comment from 3downnation. be interesting to see how eskimos and riders do this season

"Deion Belue who in 2013 was consider Alabama Crimson Tide’s top cover man takes over for Grymes in the Eskies secondary. He is a heady football player who has 4.4 / 40 speed allowing him to win body positioning during the route and make plays at the catch point. Working with John Ojo (CB) and Kacy Rodgers II (SLB), Belue will fit nicely into the Eskimos defensive scheme that will likely change some, but at a wholesale change level even with new DC Mike Benevides.

The Eskimos D may take a bit of a step back as it will certainly more risk averse under Benevides than the gambler Jones, but it will not because of personnel. Deion Lacey, Rodgers and Belue are all quality players that help the Eskies reload on D and that is thanks to Hervey’s foresight."

Glenn & all the other players could walk. I'm surprised some of them haven't. How long would someone like Bear Woods last as a free agent? A couple of days? Crazy that they'd renegotiate a salary cut...

 They can't walk - they're under contract.

Has it been said they took pay cuts? Or is Popp re-structuring things Taman style by deferring a bunch of salary?
