I love the Montreal receivers but JC isn't a good enough passer for that game plan to work at all.

Anyway, it doesn't matter.  Either SSK or BC is gonna get beat down in Montreal in the East Semifinal.

Like many people here I don't care for the Riders but I have to say that I'm a Rob Bagg fan.

No - Mr. P's trying to run down Crompton and now that he had a bad game he's all over him - so I'm asking him a legit question. And it's not the only stat line Wily has like that. It's quite hypocritical I find to run down one guy who has 'better' numbers, is younger, and is less experienced, then our own guy who frankly shat the bed the last half of the year. Regardless of the excuse why- it is what it is. So I'm asking the question. I'm curious how one stat line can be 'excused' and another isn't. Fair enough I think. But as usual - no answer just insult the poster. Epic fail.

He is not trying to run down Crompton, he is simply explaining that your over the top mancrush on the guy is a bit unfounded given the actual stats. 

Crompton will never be anything more than an average QB.  Probably looks better than that because of the horrible display put on by Troy Smith and Alex Brink earlier this season.  Of course, you can win with an average Qb provided you have an excellent defense, a good o-line, excellent receivers and great running back.  Bombers proved this in 1990 with Burgess at the helm.  Als seem to have all the pieces with possible exception of running back (not sure of injury status there) and O-line (not sure if I would categorize as good..say top 3 in the league, or average..say top 4-5 in the league).

If Willy had Montreal's OL and receivers he would be the MOP this season. Heck several QBs could be behind that group. Crompton is serviceable at best. He would not start on any other team in the CFL.

Is Crompton the solid turd or the diarrhea? I'm sure he'd love the comparisons.

Provided with 2 receivers who can catch anything within 10 yards of them and can't be covered, Crompton still completes half his passes.  Says it all.  He's like a poor man's Jay Cutler.

 

Will be interesting to see what kind of deal Duron Carter gets from a NFL team.  I bet he'll have offers from most teams.

Jury still out on Grigsby here but , in his defense, he played great on Sat. and was a difference maker.
