Edmonton could be his team of the year.

It hard to keep up with that Jones.

Guess he got tired of pal-ing around with his buddy Scott. He was under contract to the Stamps & the minute Milanovich was hired, he phoned the guy from his office at McMahon Stadium & said please hire me. As they were former roommates  he wanted to coach with his friend. When John Hufnagel found out, he hit the roof. Story goes, Huff & Jones almost came to blows. Be interesting to see how many players Jones signs away from the Argos like he did with the Stamps like Robert McCune, Brandon Issac & Demetrice Morley.

That would be a hard-ass, unlikeable pair of coaches.

I'm really not sure about Chris Jones as a HC. He's too volatile for my liking.

One thing's for certain, Jones won't be a media favourite in Edmonton. He doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who is all warm & fuzzy.

Some of the best coaches in various sports were disliked (but feared) by most of their players, but worked their butts off and even won a lot of games. Coaches would rather have the obedience and respect of their players than be best buddies with them or the media. Lets hope for competence instead of likeability- there are not too many Mike Rileys out there.

If that happened, wouldn't the next successor in Tor possibly be O'Shea for DC?

I had the exact same thought. 

So far the jump from DC to HC has been littered with their corpses. Not sold if this a good hire. Better than what they had - which isnt saying much.

But he.... Jones ....doesn't know the Eskimo Way. It would be a crime. Well, speaking of crimes they had Tillman.

I'm glad that the Blue made a call that's a good sign
