Yep, Maier was given a starting job and blew it, anything he can get between $100-$200k is a fair starting point for the opportunity to reboot his career. Trevor Harris went from the RB's to the Elks to the Als to the Riders to reclaim his career and a starter's salary, Trevor will tell him, "it ain't no easy road.....and maybe lay off them cheeseburgers".

I must admit the nickname “Mayer McCheese” around here makes me chuckle quite a bit.

I thought he was still under contract but looks like he’s expiring and the riders got his negotiating period rights. In that case I think he’s likely to see free agency unless he get a decent offer from the riders. Honestly, I’m not sure what to expect the remaining back up QBs to get money wise. Doesn’t seem like the players have any leverage. But players might be heavily swayed by teams they want to play for a positions that are good for them more than normal. 1 hour ago, Fatty Liver said: Yep, Maier was given a starting job and blew it, anything he can get between $100-$200k is a fair starting point for the opportunity to reboot his career. I expect this to be the range for the remaining vet QBs. 3 hours ago, GCn20 said: Never. I thought he was on a 2 year from last year but I think it was the year before. 4 hours ago, Noeller said: Still an upgrade for us imo. Though I don’t think we go after him unless he’s interested in vet min.

The one who waits to last probably gets the least. I think it’s going to line up with every team having their qb1, and a solid vet qb2. Which should be interesting.
December 25, 2024Dec 25 comment_741482 expect to hear a Strevie signing shortly into the new yr Gong to camp with ZC...Wilson...Dolo and Grainger with Strevie killing the rehab is all we need...no need to take reps away from any of the mentioned for a guy who will be 4th on depth chart at best....we already know QB 1 is not even gonna be a competition and even if ZC stinks the joint up and has degraded in anyway....Osh will not supplant him to back up....And who cars if he is a 600k back-up....the cost of your QB's is the same regardless of what order you put them in.. They raised over 35m in NIL money on one day in October when they had an off season goal of 50, which I think they’re already over. They are looking to build a new stadium and move up to the fbs.

How can a college team have a GM when there is aready an AD in place that looks over all of the college teams on campus? I never heard of a college GM before. We may never see Simon again, especially if an NFL team hires him for a personnel role.
