Fun to sit and watch practice today... Been about 20 years since I was last able. With respect to the late great Randy Turner, the king of Odds and Sods writing.... here's some thoughts: -Al

  • Just to speak to Wolitarsky’s character and just what a good dude he is … few years back, some friends and I went to go see him play at Earl’s on Main and we ended up chatting with him and Streveler …

Really easy to always say that there's some mystical coach out there that would be a better fit.  We've been through generations as CFL fans watching teams including our own who keep believing that.

3DN misinterpreted his goodbye to the Bombers as him announcing his retirement. His agent clarified he's still looking to play next season.

"He took to social media on Sunday to thank the team for their time together, which some outlets, including this one, interpreted as a retirement message. Instead, Alexander’s agent reached out to 3DownNation to explain that his client isn’t retiring and is still actively looking for his next playing opportunity."

I figured the reality of the situation had set in on him that he wasn’t getting signed by this point too.
Guess not, not much of a chance he gets another look any where.

Yeah was hoping he'd go the Mike Miller route and stick around as a coach but if he still has the itch to play then I guess it wasn't meant to be.

A lot of vets get that thought from us on their way out, but ba is legit one of the best candidates for coaching. Might make more sense to have him under Jy after hall retires though.

Best of luck to BA in his future endeavours. Another good dude. He was a real one. Changed the secondary when he moved to safety. Prob deserves a spot on the ring of honor down the line and another veteran bites the dust. Bighill and BA, both were obvious. The other one should have been 95 days until camp.

Cancelled our summer trip to Wyoming and are going to Toronto instead. @bluto any tips on where to sit at BMO? Where do the other Bomber fans like to congregate?

Glad to hear it!

I haven't observed that Bomber fans congregate in a particular section. That pretty much only happens when Hamilton or Montreal attend. Just try not to be on the East side for an evening game - the setting sun is blinding.

Let me know which game and we'll meet up at the TG.

We cancelled our two weeks in Sedona that was planned for January as soon as T-Rump was elected. A wonderful place but....

I don’t know. I think the only way Thomas isn’t on the roster day 1 is he gets injured in camp for the year. ACL or something. Broken leg. I dunno. Serious injury but part of me wants to believe there’s a chance he won’t be cuz they cut him once, why not again. Drop him like the American stock market.

As long as the younger kid doesn't get hurt again this year, I really think Jake will go back to the limited reps. He only played so much last year because the kid got hurt and they were absolutely committed to a NI DT for whatever reason.

Lawson yeah, as long as he’s 100% he should get the most reps. I just hope Thomas doesn’t eat up woods snaps.
