After what happened last GC against Fajardo, I’m never talking **** about a Bomber playoff opponent QB again.

Bold prediction after losing the chance at first, the Riders enter the WSF demoralized and lose to the Lions.

If happy good Vaj shows up...I see that...Sask secondary is suspect and bad, even with Mr. MODP..MOP....and really nobody in the Sask receiving corp screams dangerous.....and you have Harris at the helm....guy will wilt and fade...always does, so if it gets into some kind of shoot out...I dont see Sask keeping pace with a dialed in Vaj....just hope they both slap the crap outta each other and come in beat up and tired...tho don't think it gonna matter

I’m more worried about Sask than BC. The quick passing game of Trevor Harris is effective vs our scheme and we barely beat them in LDC & Banjo Bowl. Do I think we’re a better team? Yes. But they stop the run very well. If it’s Sask, Zach will need to play like he did in the 1st half of the LDC.

Not particularly worried about either of them. Both have soft as butter defences. We just need to do our thing and we should be fine. The real GC challenge will come out of the East where Montreal and Toronto can match defences with us.

I am leaning towards TO myself. Their D is dailed in right now

Toronto seems to have gotten their stuff together now, and have a very deep and talented roster. Should be a slobber knocker in the East.

if we are properly prepared....and coached.....and apt to make the adjustments on the fly...we should come away with the Dub

Especially in the West. Both teams that may challenge us are deeply flawed and exploitable in their overall team build. A GC against Montreal and Toronto is still a very winnable game but it will take as you described.

based on our last few rosters.....coaching is my only concern....and how we use said roster

We shat the bed all year and neither off the 2 west teams in the WSF could over take us....big game at home...neither scare me....may put up a decent game but we should prevail....we need to come out fast..smart and clean....avoid any injuries and we should be in B.C

Never forget the CC upheld that Duke Williams "catch" in 2021. "Bombers have all the luck" say delusional Rider fans.

To me, the league and CC favour Toronto, BC, Montreal and Sask over the other 4-5 teams in general.
If it’s East v West, they always lean East.

Sort of based off nothing honestly, it’s just a feeling I’ve always had.

You are not wrong. It's been that way for 50 years now.

This is key. Can’t afford to screw around for 3 quarters with stuff that clearly isn’t working.

yup...we are such an easy team to scheme against...mainly because opposition coaches know what we like to do, but key thing is they know we won't or will rarely deviate from our comfort calls, and know that Osh has the mentality that what we are doing....bar none is the way...and they exploit it....and that goes with players on the field...they know who he gonna put out....especially on the dline and teams I am sure have plays that as soon as they see Scheckthomas they go right at them...I know as a coach I would be going over film on our 12 guys on specific down/distance and circumstance and would have automatic plays called for it ....it's where we have been consistently out coached..we are so predictable in some regards it's almost silly...

Over the years, we've been screwed just as much as any other team in the CFL so other fans thinking we have all the luck can stop talking now.

All this talk about Harris is not a big game QB and he sucks in playoffs... same was said about Cofaj...

I think a healthy respect for Harris is warranted... Cofaj though- no ******* way, he can shove those sprinkles up his ass.

I am looking forward to watching the East final - should be a heck of a game.

Toronto is the best team in the east rn imo. That said, I’m calling Ottawa. Mainly I just don’t want to see either tor or mtl in the gc. Brown vs Zach would be a great story too.

We could dream...

Keep in mind, Toronto and Montreal are both good in the trenches and will beat each other up.

I don’t think the CC favours any one. It is soo completely inept that it can be a big swing in terms of luck. If you live and die by the CC you haven’t done enough to win the game.
A lot of mediocre teams fall into that range though. And some teams are more susceptible to specific rule enforcement.

Several times this year the cc and refs ruined the competitive balance of games. I’d say more this year than the last 5 combined.
I also think the lack of escalated punishment for cheap shots contributed heavily to a chippy dirty trending play after the whistle that spun games out of control, and lead to many injuries.
I don’t think it was intentional, I think it was mass incompetence and attempts to protect refs while micro managing Ds to create offence.

I think the hash mark change caused a temporary blip in scoring, but that since defences have adjusted it’s actually lead to a reduction in scoring and making the game less fun to watch on O and D.

TLDR, league screwed the league up. Inept not corrupt. No difference in feeling between being screwed by ineptness or corruption.

tldr 2 I’m bad at tldr
