I think we see BO on a mission...and is dominant...and that to me opens up a Lawler 7 to 10 catch game...160 yards and 2 scores....and another all-time great Grey Cup reception.....thats what I see

And minimum 6 sacks and the Faj doing a limping or shoulder injury schtick acting job

Thank you Captain Obvious. Of course all of that is going to occur.

JK man, but yea I'd say those are some safe bets to make prediction wise. Have to be a fool to think BO and KL won't be ballin' in a Grey Cup.

What, objectively, are the Als better at than the Bombers?

QB? No.
RB? No.
WRs? No.
Oline? No.

Dline? No.
LBs? No, with Biggie.
DBs? No.

Kicker? No.
Kick coverage? Maybe.

Let's look at "intangibles".

Coaching? No.
Experience? No.

The biggest factor could be the experience.  The majority of our players have won a cup or been to the big game.  We simply know how to win the big game and Montreal is hoping to learn.

We even know how to lose one, which might even be more valuable.

If you don’t see this year as dominant and label it as merely adequate, I have to ask what your standard is. Identify what qualifies as dominant (like a past actual team, not some hypothetical nebulous answer like “a squad that imposes it’s will”)

Move move move the goal posts lol. Did any one say adequate or dominant? Seem to be grasping at straws. If this year is dominant what was 2021? If 2021 was dominant what is this year. It’s not remotely the same. You are the one trying to enforce a standard lol.

Probably not. And if they do it’ll quickly be buried in cognitive dissonance. lol

When Zack decides to push it deep,he needs to pull the trigger early. That's my 1 complaint about his game, his deep balls are often just a step behind the rec. That allowed Dequey(spelling?) To catch up to Demski in MTL and make a crazy int. Keeping the ball away from that safety will be key.

Excellent point. In the idk bill Walsh system ideal timing was ball release as or just before the wr cuts so they run open under the hall and make the catch. Throwing it to a spot like that makes it harder for dbs to jump routes.

I'd say this year would classify as dominant as well. 1st in just about every meaningful statistical category, 1st in the West, and onto the Grey Cup with a dominant victory over our next closest rival.  I guess we could have been more dominant, but that's really splitting hairs as far as I am concerned. 2021 and 2023 can end with the exact same outcome. Not sure how they are not remotely the same. I mean we like to wax poetic about 2021 because we didn't drop a deuce in a game or two but our win % this year is virtually the same and our margin of victory is better.

Fun fact about that broadcast - it was shown on both CTV and CBC, and the broadcasts teams for each network split the duties. CTV’s Pat Marsden did the first half play-by-play and I think it was Leo Cahill on the colour, with CBC’s Don Wittman and Ron Lancaster taking over in the second half.

After watching a bit of the game, I believe that that is Pat "Pinky" Marsden paired with the great Frank Rigney on the CTV portion of the broadcast, and Don Wittman doing PBP and Leo Cahill on colour for the CBC.

If Zac's deep ball accuracy is our biggest concern on Sunday we will win easy. No one throws as good a deep ball as he does. We have just been spoiled the last couple years that he was otherworldly at it and this year he is merely the best in the league.

It seems like we went 20 years without a quarterback who could hit a receiver on the run.  I think this criticism is a little nit-picky.

Just don't give the game away.

There is not nearly enough talk about the Bombers D, especially against the fajtastic voyage (stealing it because it amuses me). I get people are stoked about the Montreal D and what they did to Toronto,  but man the Bombers have a storied history of making Cody Fajardo cry like a little *****.

The Bombers don't need to play like they're scared of losing.  They need to commit to an ass-kicking.

I just want to remind everyone that the last time we played them Zac had a disastrous first half tossing 3 INTs one of them a pick 6. We went on to win by a 30 point spread holding them to 17. In the game in Montreal, Zac played damn near perfect but just game managed us to a very score is deceiving 17-3 victory where we simply bully balled the clock away the entire 2nd half. In two games this year the Montreal offence has generated  2FG, and TD and that is with significant amounts of garbage time.

Their offence wasn’t even that good. Both of Montreal’s TDs were off pick 6’s.

If we can score even one touchdown in the Grey Cup game, Montreal’s offence will need to do more than it was able to do in two full games against us to overcome that deficit. That’s dominance.
