You're correct but most kicks bend as they travel. This one was left almost right off the bat. I could tell on the replay Leggs didn't hit it like he should have. i just want to be clear, I think Leggs will be a great punter. I'm just not sure he's a pro kicker. He'll be on the Bomber roster next season in some capacity.

It is extremely common for kickers to start a kick wide of the mark. Happens all the time in a cross wind. That being said it's quite possible he didn't hit it well. We have no way of knowing though.

Kicks never start out, outside the posts and bend back in. It's never happened.

It would be different if just an hour before we hadn't seen a FG made from roughly the same distance out start out well left and get blown dead centre by Bede, and then a missed attempt just before the half that started dead centre and ended up well wide to the right. If Legghio starts this kick dead centre he misses it. PERIOD. Undeniable fact based on all the other FGs we witnessed that day.

Sanford is way over 300...think he was about 350 at the regional last year.  But hit more than 8.5 feet on the broad jump so an athletic fat guy.  Played both guard spots for UBC.  Tackle length, guard core.
