For all of the offensive ugliness, we won by 2 tds. 7-0. First time in my lifetime and I'd guess most of the people here too. This is a golden age, soak it all in.

Haha Stegall with a beauty quote, “when you can afford to complete just 7 passes and still win by two touchdowns… you have a great team”

Damn, this is a sweet POV of the Schoen TD:       I don't recall that angle watching the game... is that a Bomber Cameraman?

-excited to see our receiver

- excited to see Lawler get locked down and I'm hoping a beat by at least 3 tds

If we are up by three TD’s late in the third or fourth, we might see Dru Brown getting meaningful playing time.

We have some significant injuries that I think will keep this game close, but I still expect us to win. I think our first loss comes in Calgary next week, heading into the bye. This one we sneak away with....

hope not a jinx, but not going to be close.

"And now, seven weeks into the 2022 Canadian Football League regular season, the Edmonton Elks are into double digits when it comes to quarterbacks under new head coach and general manager Chris Jones, who brought former Montreal Alouettes pivot Ben Holmes onto the practice squad Sunday.

And it’s fitting he’s wearing No. 11, because that’s how many players have been part of the Elks QB stable under Jones, in some way, shape or form, beginning with the short-lived signing of Ohio State product J.T. Barrett in January, who got injured playing elsewhere in March, followed shortly thereafter by the release of Dakota Prukop from the Elks roster on Feb. 14."

the player management of elks is nonsensical.

I'll be very impressed if Corny is able to put up 20 against this D

It'll be his mobility that will give the defence problems .. especially with Jeffcoat out.   That said, he still has playmakers out there.  If we can win more of those 50/50 battles than not, this won't shouldn't be a close game.

Curious to see who'll primarily be matched up with Lawler and how that battle goes. Montreal couldn't keep from taking PIs last week. Hopefully we're able to stay more disciplined while still providing adequate cover...

Nichols apparently which bodes well for us. Guys a stud.

When u have recievers playing/backing up at safety and corner...hello Dbag Carter and Simoneses... under sized guys on dline cause the coach tried to be smartest guy in room....a 4th string QB that's shown zip...and 10 lineup changes from last game...I don't have a lot of concern other than playing smart and disciplined ball...and no dumb penalties....we do that..it's never in question even missing 6 starters

too bad, no laughs courtesy of the mighty flex, 🤡 32🦨

..... Malik Irons playing, be interesting to see that.

There was a game, v. elks , maybe last season, where the "flex"  comments here were almost as entertaining as the game itself.
