December 13, 20213 yr comment_546795 totally kept that one alive for the INT and it was glorious. So fitting that it came down to the D to win the game for them and they delivered like they have all season.
December 13, 20213 yr comment_546800 In meaningful games.. bombers were 14 and 1 with the 1 loss being like week 2 or 3 ish. Pretty awesome. Whole organization has honestly come so far in what seems like not that long really.. just awesome job by all. Class of the league for real. Don't honestly think anyone is close at the moment.
December 13, 20213 yr comment_546839 Walters for picking up Castillo and Rose at the end of the season.
December 13, 20213 yr comment_546878 1. Alford / Nichols - made the difference - again and again and again 2. Castillo - I'm crying in my scotch if he's not on the team 3. ZC #8 - dealt with more pressure than he's used to, messed up a few times, but delivered when it mattered HH: Andrew Harris - tough yards today - also delivered when it mattered Hit of the Game: Brandon Alexander / Adam Bighill - brought the lumber several times Aside: I was listening to the game on CJOB. On that last incomplete pass for the Cats, I have no idea what the PBP guys were watching. Yes, he could have made the catch, but that was a great play by our half back.
December 13, 20213 yr comment_546909 1 - Castillo - 16 pts off his foot in a game where every point mattered 2 - Wilson - Was an absolute demon on the sweeps - He made SO MANY superb tackles that stuffed plays that were looking like big gainers 3 - Adams - Showed up big in the biggest game. HH - Rose for the 3rd down stop and the INT bobble
December 13, 20213 yr comment_546913 I love my ZC, he's the man, I'm thinking tho the MOP for the game could have easily gone to one our D man. Wilson for example was a monster all game. I loved how he fought thru being tackled to make tackles. Wow.
December 13, 20213 yr comment_546914 Darby made a lot of big plays that game too. Shrewd pick up by Walters
December 13, 20213 yr comment_546916 That play by rose to on purpose deflect the ball to Kyrie is not getting enough attention Watched it on replay 20 times... it's 100 percent intentional and one of the greatest plays in Grey Cup history
December 13, 20213 yr comment_546918 Video of the pick, for anyone that wants to relive it https://www.cfl.ca/2021/12/12/gc108-bombers-become-grey-cup-champions-with-interception-in-overtime/

December 13, 20213 yr comment_546927 1. Castillo - All the FG's and a couple of extra points on kick offs. 2. Bighill - All over the field. Sideline to sideline. 3. Nichols - Made THE play to save the game. HH: Adams - Not our #1 threat anymore, but came up big when it mattered.
December 13, 20213 yr comment_546929 The entire D took turns making great plays. Darby making hard tackles, Wilson just everywhere, Alexander exploding people, Jefferson with the reach, Nichols ending drives, so many more... Rose definitely made the most critical stops (3rd down stuff, the magic INT) soooo ROSE what can you say that hasn't already been said, that was an ALL TIME play by and ALL TIME player BAILEY making the hardest catches at the most critical times. He wanted this Grey Cup as much as anyone. This guy is a hero COLLAROS it has to feel good to be this guy. From scrap heap to glory. He has a home here for as long as he wants it. HH - JOEL WHITFORD for some truly deeply awful punting, to you sir I tip my hat Castillo did his job, that's the only reason he doesn't make my 3. Adams looked like his old self, what an underappreciated vet.

December 13, 20213 yr comment_546940 looking at it....4th quarter...down by 12...Zack goes 9 of 13...over 100 yards.....touchdown....then again in O.T plus the 2 point convert.....he earned that MOP in my opinion....he made the plays when it mattered most and in the clutch
December 13, 20213 yr comment_546942 Props to Buck Pierce as well. First season as OC. Really utilized all of the talent on offense, and made great adjustments at halftime in the Grey Cup.
December 13, 20213 yr comment_546943 Bombers were dominant in crunch time (4th quarter) all year. Why would it be any different, yesterday?

December 13, 20213 yr comment_546954 Kyrie had a hell of game. Jake Thomas too. Sergio was what we all hoped he would be when he signed and we needed everyone of those points. Harris ground out the tough hards, the ticat D didn't give him much today. How many big plays did Darvin make in 2019 and 2021 playoffs?
December 13, 20213 yr comment_546957 I don't think the play calling changed as much as it was them getting their protections figured out. First half, Zach didn't have time to operate. Second half, fourth quarter in particular, Zach had time to throw. The offense simply executed better. If anything, I commend Buck for staying balanced in his approach.
