Don't we all want a Milt/Arland Bruce combo at SB?

So Judge had 61 tackles, 11 special team tackles, 2 Int and 5 Sacks in 2019. Jordan Herdman Reed had 37 tackles, 8 special teams tackles, 0 Ints and 1 Sack Justin Herdman Reed had 37 tackles

  • Bowman will sign in Saskatchewan and we will then have fun reading about how great he is.

I don't think Evans started or took significant snaps since July. He got injured and never really came back. He was dealing with the injury/personal family stuff with a divorce/custody battle. From what  I heard some of that stuff really took his want to play away and he might be done with football. He was pretty much useless on the field. From talking to players on the team he didn't want to be there and was only there because the Riders paid a hundred thousand plus for him to go to the states to some core specialist for surgery.

Dean is 32 turning 33, Soli is 34 turning 35 so that is a two year difference. Soli also was a ten year vet where Dean has less miles. Kind of like how Harris has been able to succeed into his 30s because he never really got high mileage use till he was late 20s. At the end of the day no one really knows how this time off will effect the older players. I think that will be one of the most interesting story lines to follow as the year starts.

Harris was getting 180+ carries a year since 2012 as well as anywhere from 40 to 100+ receptions, not to mention punt and kick returns before that and special teams work...so he's had a fair bit of mileage

Dean played 61 games in nfl as well as 4 years of 18 games seasons in CFL...Soli in his ten years played 7 or less games 3 times..so not like he was pulling 18 game seasons of banging his body for 10 yrs straight...wear and tear anyway is a bad barometer of what a player has left in these new times...things are different....How old was the Super Bowl winning QB compared to the losing one??

Even better question, whar is the average age of the sb winning oline?

Thats a fair point. I would agrue that Brady is unlike anyone else ever including his longevity. QB is also a positon that doesn't take the beating a LB or RB take. Especially how brady plays.

?? He's gonna be a starter there. And in a system he knows, that suits his skill set. Peterman will have a solid year with Nichols and Lapo.

Considering he was not used well while here it amazes me that he would want to rejoin the same OC  and QB.   I think on any other team (ours included) he has a way higher chance of being a big time player.

How was he not used well here? The games he got into he produced just fine.

If you define not used well, as in not being in the starting lineup...well who would he replace?

In 2018 he could of replaced a lot of guys ,  in 2019 he could of been given more reps then guys like Demski who disappeared for long stretches of time.   The guy produced whenever he was on the field so it surprised me that they wouldn't try to find a way to involve him more.

I love me some Petey, but it's insane to think he was going to replace anyone on our roster, with the way it was built. There were limited touches anyhow, because this offense will always work through Andrew Harris as long as he's healthy and playing. But there's no way you take out Demski or Woogie for Petey...and I say that as a big fan of his.

Muamba has always been a selfish "Me First" kinda player. He found a home in Montreal with a great Head Coach in Khari. How much more $$$ is he going to make going somewhere else? But that is how his career has gone. Always been motivated by money & greener pastures down the road. Doesn't want to stick around to do the heavy lifting by helping the Als win a Grey Cup.
