wondering if MOS was distracted too much being back home visiting in Ontario for a week and it hurt his game planning...

A big part of it yes. We had some dumb penalties and the fumble in the redzone. Plus abandoning the run.

But Nichols can't beat the pass rush. When you can't put up one first down to win the game late that's sad. This offense has to look long and hard in the mirror.

Won't argue with that.

It's not like LaPo is calling passing plays where Nichols only has one guy to throw to. 

He has the time and just ******* can't hit a target at all and/or dumps it off poorly to his check down receiver. 

When Streveler is in he ******* chucks the ball down field and while some of the throws are risky he at least gives the receiver a chance to make a play.  

It's not Lapo this week,,  this week is **** stain mcgee nichols who can't hit anything.

Chicken and the egg. Both had another lousy game. 

I'm ready to move on without Nichols. If not now, then after the season. Let's see what Streveler and our 3rd stringer can do. We know they can hand the ball off to Harris, so if they can pass for 200 - 300 yards a game, it's good enough.

Two games in a row Nichols doesn't look settled.  He rushed too many throws tonight.  And once the Argos clued in and shutdown Harris they had this game.  And the defence was atrocious.  Too many 2nd and long palys given up.  Again torched for over 300 yds in the air.

 

Seriously trade anything and everything to BC for Reilly just for one season.   Easily we win this game if we had Reilly.   

I'm also tired of watching our HC on the sidelines show little or no emotion. He needs to be more engaged with the players. If he needs to be a cheerleader then be a cheerleader. If he needs to drop the hammer then do it. But this walking around on the sidelines by himself with a half smirk does nothing.

QB can't throw. Harris had like 60 percent of our O. Lol. 

As angry as I am at Nichols and as deserving as he is of all the flak, apart from Harris, there were no standouts tonight. Bombers are trending in the wrong direction.

You can't let MBT run wild down the middle of the field, where was Bighill on those plays.

Ive said this before and ive noticed it with other QB's like Trevor Harris after really watching him in our 2nd game. Nichols goes to his first read, its not there, he starts getting happy feet and looks to check down to AH. Trevor Harris goes through his read. 1 not there, 2 not there, 3 open-throw.

He may have killed us on a lot of calls, but that play actually worked and got the first down, prior to the fumble.
