I said the same thing. I'd snap up free tickets for the kids or a set of cheap tickets in a heart beat. The kids are the ones who will continue to support the club so why not get them there young. And the amount I spend on food and drinks when my kids come is trippled so it's a no brainer for the club IMO.

Plus its not going to be like you are getting 10,000 kids getting in free but I could see where you would have 2000 to 2500 kids a game coming for free. You probably would get 10-15 in concession for each of those kids.

FYI: the Riders have fired their D-line coach. Funny- they were one of the better parts of the team this year.

Last home game I spent $40 on my son just on concessions. Hes 10 lol. They easily would have made up for a free ticket. 

The three dollar hot dogs are great. Can get two and drink for 11 bucks. 

And the $3 spring rolls are tasty too lol!

Yikes, too bad for Hammy and the league. We need our marquee players on the field.

That's brutal. As much as it makes might help the Bombers quest for a GC I sure don't want to see that to any team. What a shame. The whole situation was exactly what happened to Nichols in camp last year but didn't hold him out quite as long.

You know that when a guy goes down without contact that it's probably not going to be a fun injury. 

I don't buy the crap about Masoli being one of the star quarterbacks in the league but cripes the QB play is bad enough as is without starters getting hurt. 

Montreal for 1st in the east now? Ain't that some **** eh?

With Reilly looking like he'll be going down soon, this is the last thing the league needed

 

Sucks for Hamilton and their fans and the league as a whole.

In terms of the league, the East was bad already and this is only going to make it worse imo. Montreal for first since they seem like the best of the bunch? Crossover not only back in play but a better route to the Grey Cup?

No one knows how old he is, but if you ask me, and most people do, he's a hundred years if he's a day.

Agreed we need our best players on the field, but this injury had nothing to do with the new rules that protect QB's         ( and I realize you weren't arguing this). In fact, I can think of a few QB injuries where it was just a "freak" thing.Sad for Masoli though. Opens up the east now. I wonder if Toronto is now thinking, "So you say there's a chance!"

And then there were 3... Nichols, Harris and Reilly are the only starting QB's left standing this year and Reilly's been taking a beating.

What are you guys talking about? Hamilton is so good that they made us look like pure crap WITH THEIR BACKUP QB! I won't be feeling sorry for them any time soon.
