Actually the chain has a story within the locker room. At the beginning of the year all the defensive plays got one link. Meaning they are only one link in the chain together all the links in the chain are where their strength comes from. So a couple weeks ago they put the links together. When someone makes a good play it’s often because of all the links in that chain worked together. Marcus Sayles explained this on the post game show.

Now this makes a heck of a lot more sense and unintentionally(?) mocks the shameless bling thing the Riders use and, if they understand??, should quiet the garbage some Rider fans use in their posts.

I still think the chain is kinda cheesy... but this is a nice story to go behind it...

If the chain was being used at the beginning of the year ,how come we hadn't seen it until recently....Would have been a nice story to start the year...right now it looks like we are a cheap knock off

The Bomber chain looks like the one Jamarcus Hardrick had  2 years ago for his player profile video they put up on the jumbotron when they highlight a player. He was wearing this big thick chain and did the "junkyard dog" crawl if the offence scored a TD. Maybe it morphed into the "links in a chain" thing, maybe they co-opted the Sask. "Chain of honour" idea and just made up the story to fit it, who knows, but I think the actual chain has been around a while, just going public with it now.

I personally think the chain is stupid. Looks amateur. You don't see any other professional league with stupid crap like that. But that's just my opinion. If it for some reason makes them play better, have at er.

Because it wasn't a chain, it was just the links.

 

And, this is for the players, so they probably don't care what you think.

What a coincidence,  seriously what are the chances that the Riders would introduce a big chain to put around the neck of players who make big plays that the Bombers would later do the same and then claim theyve been doing it all year.  LOL

Saskatchewan's chain just became more controversial. A bride from My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding show is complaining that the Riders chain was taken from her wedding dress ensemble. She wants it back and has offered the Riders the use of her Bedazzler to make their own.

Eh I feel like a lot of high tier prospects bust more then they boom at skill positions. If any thing it  hammers home that having a high volume of picks in rounds 2-4 is worth far more then high picks. 

Also Im not sure hes done just yet, idk if hes been put in a very good position to succeed.
