Streveler seem like perfect back up is going to work his tail off but is not about rocking the boat about playing time.

Seems like he fits the mold of the kind of player the team wants to have...  a non selfish hard working team player.   Him and Bennett should make a good combo for the future!

He watched Nichols all last season so he knows who and what he is trying get past..... maybe that is why he is so calm cool and collected (?)

Yup- I think our locker room and team culture would enable Jefferson to thrive.

If we follow the logic of "the locker room will straighten him out", then would not the next step to sign a certain wide receiver ie: Duron Carter? God knows, the talent is there.

Winning the cup this year with Carter would be hilarious....

High risk, high possible reward, but I'm pretty sure that Mr. Carter is not open to change.

I have thought about it when he was released from Sask. was on the fence then about it...

Given how much (lack thereof) he was a distraction and head case over there... I would sign him. He showed growth in Tor. and I would assume he would show more with the Bombers.

Duron Carter will never ever be a Bombers player while MOS is around...

Yup. Even last year when Popp went out and got him, Trestman refused to play him. When a coach would rather lose his job than to put a player in that might help, you know he's cancerous.

Given the progress of the Bombers have made.... in turning this into a place, where the right kind of guys want to play........picking up a Carter, would simply be a step backwards.  Let some one else deal with that drama.

Well, it worked out well for Trestman...

Not even to mention the guy hasn't done bupkus in two years on the field either.

Carter is an undeniable athletic star who has been coddled and excused. Hi sense of entitlement will probably not allow him to humble himself enough to be a team player. He will probably always be a half-baked star-in-waiting hiding in the weeds.
