Thought we got rid of him far too soon. He sounds kind of bitter and negative towards playing up here. His nephew saying hed never play up here. That exact play and injury could happen at any level. Forget football, the most violent sport in the world imo, countless guys have blown out Achilles, knees and more playing pick up games of basketball. Should no one do that either?

It's a shame the CFL can't sort this out for it's players, I legitimately feel for the guy. He gave his all to the league. I would also contribute to something like this.

Mike, if you you know of a website, blog or forum that could be accessed through this site, and somehow could get that link to provide for Heffer, that would be great. Know anyone?

October 1, 20177 yr comment_295077 Yeah, he's been tossed aside on the scrap heap by the CFL. It really is tragic.
October 1, 20177 yr comment_295116 Maybe in addition to the GoFundme we could make our voices heard to the commissioner? He seems to like to “do the right thing” when it’s in the public eye...
October 2, 20177 yr comment_295226 Nice pickup for Edmonton. Surprised that the Ticats would let him go just for neg list players. At least Hamilton is being reasonable and acknowledging that they are out of the race so they can acquire some assets for the future.
October 2, 20177 yr comment_295227 @TSNDaveNaylor Hearing the neg list players going from Edm to Ham in CJ Gable trade are 2 OL ... futures. #CFL #ticats #esks

October 2, 20177 yr comment_295233 If anyone needs a chuckle this morning, go to 3downnation and read Cameron Judge's twitter diarrhea- he describes a bizarre college life, and makes me wonder if he learned his lifestyle at Trump University.
October 2, 20177 yr comment_295248 trade makes sense for both sides... I wonder if Hammy tried to get a draft pick though...
October 2, 20177 yr comment_295268 Why the love for Gable? He's turrrrrrrible, he's crappy at blocking, goes down on first contact and has mediocre hands.

October 2, 20177 yr comment_295314 Hefney now has a gofundme page to help cover the costs of his medical expenses for rehabilitation https://www.gofundme.com/4ik88e0

October 2, 20177 yr comment_295335 CJ Gable has been hot garbage all year. He can follow Chick to the Esks but you're still going to get the same result. Except now, you have a pylon 'protecting' Reilly.

It's not terrible... 55 yards per game is a 1000 yard season. I'm not a huge Gable fan either but I do think he is better than what the Esks have behind their injured guys.
