January 11Jan 11 comment_742218 Nearly six years after its announcement, Kildonan Place may be getting that new food court.

January 12Jan 12 Author comment_742265 and it needs a proper ice cream place (the outlet place has a Kernels and a Baskin Robbins in the same store) the closest they have is a Pinkberry at Second Cup and the stuff at Junxion is just f'real shakes with a twist. We don't need a DQ in KP not if there's one a block away Edited January 12Jan 12 by iHeart

January 23Jan 23 Author comment_743276 there are too many things from the US that I want to see on our Grocery Shelves (Chik Fil A Sauce isn't one of them though, that is something I'd rather get from the import stores)

The restaurant itself has gone down hill and is pretty awful now which is a shame. They do sell the sauces at the restaurant but its crazy expensive. Always stock up when we go to the U.S.
January 23Jan 23 Author comment_743289 well maybe some condiments or Taco Bell Taco Shells? (I don't really need the Dolly Parton cake mixes anymore since I made everything I wanted to make with them) or Velveeta Skillet stuff Edited January 23Jan 23 by iHeart

I haven't gone in a few years but I believe Luxe's (the place where you can buy BBQ's and smokers) also had a large variety of sauces when I last went. I find that most Superstores/Sobeys/Safeway carry the same old stuff and have a very small section for "gourmet" or different BBQ sauces.

Luxe does carry a huge selection but there are still some brands/flavors that they don't carry or can't get in Canada. For example, they carry some Kinders BBQ sauces but there are certain flavours (like black cherry chipotle or bourbon peach) that I have only ever seen in the US. I try to stock up on those whenever I get the chance.

February 8Feb 8 Author comment_745244 So I got my chance to try Belle's today I had a pulled chicken sandwich with Mac and cheese (do they use Velveeta on them?) my dad put it this way: the food is good but it's not food meant to be consumed by old people (he is 71 mom is 64) he like the coffee though I thought it was just okay this type of restaurant format might not be for me. I will give them bonus points for the smokey scent that fills the air Edited February 8Feb 8 by iHeart
