Posted September 9, 20177 yr comment_289842 I didn't PVR the game, what was the final verdict? Us or them?

September 9, 20177 yr comment_289846 was odd as when they had the meter on screen it was jumping around 106 to 108-109 on the scores...but they posted 104

I had a feeling TSN might make it a draw to not piss anyone off.
September 9, 20177 yr comment_289852 Pretty sure we were louder but TSN has to circle jerk over Rider fans so they may supress this info
September 10, 20177 yr comment_289855 best part was gord miller explaining it away as the game was closer this week... uhhh no it wasn't.
September 10, 20177 yr comment_289857 They took readings at certain plays/times during each quarter(for both games) and near the end of the game they showed the average decibel level. Ours was at 100.3 or something and last week the priders average was something like 99.6. Ofcourse the play by play guy(not sure who it was) had to mention that last weeks game wasnt as close, hinting that is why we are louder. Im sure Climie agrees.
September 10, 20177 yr comment_289865 It was far FAR louder on TV this week from last week. I watched both and it was just insane on peak levels this week vs last.
September 10, 20177 yr comment_289867 yeah because we prob would have been at least 100..possibly 102-104..so our average would have been around 102
September 10, 20177 yr comment_289874 Id say the moose was a female rider fan in disguise but moose are beautiful magestic creatures.

Dunigan was great though, standing up for Winnipeg against Gord Miller's political spin.
September 10, 20177 yr comment_289878 Y'know what I'd say to the Rider fans that say this game was closer (causing higher decibels)? This is your inaugural season at Mosaic, Winnipeg's 2013 season stunk all sorts of ugly, but that home opener against Montreal was loud.

Reminds me a lot of Ron Lancaster when he was on CBC in the 1980's. Tells it like it is. With his QB past, he can see what's coming and give a lot of insight. I remember one game in the 80's when the Riders were beating Edmonton, which never happened, and Lancaster was just loving it. He said "Riders are bringing the blitz, if Edmonton doesn't see it Moon is dead" and sure enough, after Moon snapped the ball Lancaster just said "he's dead" and five guys jumped on Moon. That memory came back to me today when Dunigan announced the Lankford TD before Nichols had thrown the ball. Just love it. OK - enough babbling, just really happy right now watching the Banjo Bowl, it was everything I wanted and more.

September 10, 20177 yr comment_289885 Climie was the only panel member to pick the Riders, I don't know what Gord Miller was talking about and its just as well Suitor was not doing the game, hearing a grown man cry is really sad.
September 10, 20177 yr comment_289887 To be perfectly honest, I'm surprised Saskatchewan knows what decibels are, and how to track them.

September 10, 20177 yr comment_289889 All I know I was at both and it was louder today did not need a meter to tell me that
