Even then, I can't see how we don't benefit from having the first pick overall. I remember all those years of not having a first round pick, and now we have two of them including the first overall. It doesn't get better than that.

I'm generally against paying a bunch more money to our tackle just to have a Canadian who may or may not be as good as Hardrick. IMO priority one is keeping Nichols upright not filling the ratio on the OL... at this point we have enough good Canadian starters elsewhere.

Foucault is almost guaranteed an upgrade at RT... and probably a ratio changing RT in CFL for ten years. As for Ruby, I'm more looking at him as a game ready backup if Hardrick goes down - guys still young, could be a gamechanger too.
