August 16, 20169 yr comment_216103 Happy Birthday Bob! I started cheering for the Bombers in 1972, when they had Don Jonas and Mack Herron; I believe that was also the first year Bob did play by play for us on CJOB!! Report
August 16, 20169 yr comment_216105 happy b-day Bob. You are legitimately the only bigger Bomber fan on this earth other than me, and you've been a huge part of my Bomber experience since 1977 when I went to my first Bomber game. You rock buddy. Edited August 16, 20169 yr by kelownabomberfan Report

August 16, 20169 yr comment_216181 Back in the days of black-outs (circa. early-mid 70's) it was common for many Bomber games to be un-televised both home and away. Living outside the city it was fortunate if I could attend 3-4 home games per year. Thus I spent a lot of time listening to Bob on CJOB and wish to thank him for every minute of it, he is the best. But since zalnasky left and ob was too cheap to bring any one on the road with him leaving random out of towners filling in hes been doing double duty. Hes allways been more of a vin scully type.
