Winnipeg Blue Bombers TC 2022
I agree with your comments. Even the really long one. Whether or not this ends in a warrant for his arrest is yet to be determined, and a finding of guilty or innocent is miles away.

Pre-Season Game 1 - L(k)'s at Blue Bombers (maybe, maybe not, we'll see)
Went to the game last night and fought it out with the line-up card that was provided. Here's my 2 pennies.... Really liked 76 Berner ( DL ) and 69 Machino (OL). Both looked like players to me. I also was impressed with 36 Thompson at safety. Watch out! I thought Prukop was hanging onto the ball for far too long in the second half. It should be noted that our O'line in the 2nd half was all rookies/new guys. Same on the DL. Berner played in the 1st half, and after an injury in the 2nd he played that well. Brown looked really good even with the rookie o'line. Mourtada had the one convert hit the post, but he looked very solid. Leggs can punt, and do kick offs, but I don't think his leg is as strong. Augustine is so fast, a very different dimension from Oliviera. Felt bad for the returner 31 Holm. Was lucky he didn't get killed on his first return, but settled in after that.

2022 Off Season - Back 2 Back Champs Edition
I think this whole maximum pay issue of 54k for a global player is an embarrassment to the entire league.

2022 Off Season - Back 2 Back Champs Edition
I don't think us fans truly appreciate the sacrifice some of the American players make when they leave their families to come up here. Look at Houston #35 as an example. And the total solid our team did for him. But my point is the huge sacrifice some make to come here for 4-5 months away from their families. No judgement from me if they go home right away. And now with all this increasing covid crap, who can blame them??

Biggest question coming out of Sundays win
I agree with lots of this, especially your thoughts on the on-field guys being gun-shy. I've been saying for a long time that officials seem to be hesitant to make decisions. I also get that referees don't want to decide the game unless they have to. This call clearly, or non-call absolutely could've decided the game in Saskatchewan's favour and I'm glad it didn't. And finally, the CFL needs to perhaps make decisions and reasoning by the command centre public, kinda like Department of Player Safety in the NHL. We may not agree with the decision, but at least we might see their decision-making process.

3 stars and HH bombers get stumped.
One of the Hallet boys was playing safety all 2nd half. #21 I think.

3 stars and HH bombers get stumped.
Couple of easy picks here today: 1. Johnny Augustine. Tremendous game, and that interview with Sara Orlesky was wonderful. Barefoot warmup! 2. Biggie, comes to play. 3. Lawler. Only 1000 yard receiver this year, and he missed a game. HH. Kicking game

Very much agree with this take. It looked to me like we were playing lots of backups on D, but on O it was business as usual except for the QB. I think Brown started out nervous, and didn't do himself any favours regarding his job future. And what was up with Calgary trying to injure Brown?? REfs needed to step hard on that. Our offence should've destroyed them in the first half.

Glad that most of our starters are playing today.

3 stars plus scape goat 2nd last pre season edition
This thread should be renamed the " trying to find the silver lining" thread. 1. Loved Kongbo's game . 2. Sales was also very good. 3. Special teams were good. Scape goat has to go to McGuire playing behind a very makeshift o'line and questionable play-calling. HH goes to Darvin Adams. Horrible play when he gets hit by the ball, clearly he didn't think he was the intended receiver on that play. The guy does all kinds of blocking, and I was glad for him to get a TD pass.

Totally agree with this. We clearly saw which backup players are capable of playing, and which aren't.
