We aren't lacking veteran receivers, we are lacking younger imports who can improve and maybe become something more than Kelly or Bryant are at this point in their careers. I could understand kicking the tires on a guy like Bryant if say Nick Moore was out for a month or something. Bringing in Romby on his last CFL legs rather than using those snaps on guys who could be that third imp receiver into 2015-2016 is disheartening.Pretty safe to say the scouting at receiver was a failure when none of the guys who attended training camp were even good enough to keep on the practice roster. Kemp is on the PR. That doesn't really nullify Bolden's point.

I'm referring to the high probability that Johnson doesn't last more than a few weeks. You never know though ... Yeah exactly, something to keep an eye on. His failure would be a bigger story than if he were mediocre.

I think BC has made an upgrade at QB. For sure, but Glenn is a backup QB. what if he never sees the field? sure he's an upgrade although in my opinion, i thought demarco was pretty darn good last season when lulay got hurt, but.. not exactly an upgrade that makes a difference, he might make a difference if lulay is hurt but he might not see the field at all. Week one KG will be on the field, and who knows how long until Lulay is healthy (I assume you didn't know he was still hurt.)

Thursday night games don't bode well with the public outcry of getting home late, so I'm not totally surprised that the number is so low early. The one thing Thursday night games have an advantage in is everyone isn't going to be out at their cabins, so I can see high walk-up numbers.
