Training camp report June 11
Just got my midterm exam back in this class I'm in now, I've got an A. So I'm gonna play some hooky and head over to camp!

Robert Marve's history
Yeah that's all I'm really concerned with.

Robert Marve's history
I wonder how long until he's battling back for a fourth time, although he won't be getting hit much this year unless were in a state of emergency so the over under can't be too low.

Robert Marve's history
I'm new to this forum and I'm not sure if this was posted when he signed or not, but Marve has a pretty wild history. According to his Wikipedia page, here's what I've gathered: Has torn his ACL THREE times. Resisted arrest. Suspended for a bowl game (academic purposes.) Illegal benefits received from non other than Nevin Shapiro. Interesting stuff. I love second, third, fourth (whatever he's on) chance stories, however if anyone here meets him, and he asks, don't make any financial investments with him!

GDT: Argos @ Bombers
Why are people so scared by Etchevery?

Brightest spot was special teams
Pretty sure they both had the opposite jerseys on last night. A curveball thrown to camp observers. Between the breaking ball and beer consumption I couldn't figure it out last night and scratched my head for most of the game.

Brightest spot was special teams
Did they swap numbers before the game? I was so confused as to who was out there.

QB - Could Hall get cut?
It's a 4th rounder, going up to a 2nd rounder depending on playing time this season. I said 4th rounder because I don't see Brohm playing enough to change that. Scrap my last post. Lol

QB - Could Hall get cut?
That's a horse of a different colour then. Brohm should expect his release barring some kind of quarterbacking masterpiece in his quarter on Saturday. We can find someone else to PR if need be.

Who gets cut first
I think a few vet DB's may be on the bubble. Suber, Dunn, and Banks looked pretty craptastic out there. I highly doubt Banks is on the bubble, same with Suber.

QB - Could Hall get cut?
It's one pre season game. Hall isn't going anywhere.

Alouettes Fire OC Rick Worman
I sense a crossover!!

Bombers sign two more receivers
Must have failed the walkthrough. Maybe Kyle Walters is hosting new show called "TSN Punk'd"

Deal done!
I want replacement players for the ones who vote against it!

monday's preseason game
I'm a Detroit Lions fan, and in 2008 we were 4-0 in the pre-season... I guess it was great for morale.

monday's preseason game
I'd rather have Ray playing tomorrow. Ray is going to be playing when it matters week one.

BLOCKBUSTER: Walby Joins TSN 1290
Kielback can be found at the downs betting on the ponies every now and then. Great guy... I did tell him he was the voice of my childhood, he was thrilled. He was let go by the Coyotes when they cleaned house a while back. I guess they figured for the team to start producing they had better can the play-by-play guy, and I thought Bombers brass was questionable....

Main Camp Day 8
I'm wondering whether or not it's going to be worth heading down to watch today. The schedule says 2.5 hours but I can't see that happening the day before a game. I think it could be a boring session for us fans. I would hate to walk in and see game jerseys and a walk-through.

Bombers sign two more receivers
Iglesias was very, very good in college. Not sure how much everyone follows college ball, but he was the new, even better (in college) Mark Clayton for the Sooners. If he can get his pro career on track he can be a nice weapon for the Blue & Gold. If he doesn't pan out, whatever. No risk, high reward.

I can't stand Doug Brown either.

Weekly Fantasy Contest Details
An orthodox fantasy football league just doesn't work in the CFL. Not enough players, no fun (and not a bug enough pot) if you lower the amount of fantasy teams proportionate to an NFL league. Pools are the way to go in the CFL, I'm looking forward to this set up.

Bud Grant statue unveiling in October
Not too sure about Battle. I'd lean towards a no for him. Statues are expensive, and I'm not sure how many more these private sponsors would be willing to pay for. I suggested a ring of honour inside the stadium on another thread. Won't cost much for that.

I agree that Leibl is no good. He's considered a baseball expert because he watches a few games more than the other hosts but I've exposed him as a fraud in that dept. with a couple of calls. Now that Edmunds is around they don't need Leibl for baseball, so I ask what else could he possibly bring to the table? At least Jay Richardson got the boot (or left on his own... However they sugar coated it,) at least he's gone.

Bombers negotiate Transit game day discount
I'm not sure what the $2.55 is, but it's not associated with Park & Ride. From what I was told at the Bomber Store yesterday individual rides to the game via Park & Ride are $5. A ride home is free. $40 gets you a pass (saves you $5 over the course of the season, $10 if we host a playoff game,) So the $2.55 has NOTHING to do with Park & Ride.

Bud Grant statue unveiling in October
I could be wrong but I thought he meant the first of many statues honouring Bomber players, not just Bud Grant. Of course, I could be misunderstanding your comment. Yeah I meant I don't want a whole whack of statues honouring a bunch of players. Keeping the elite group small is the way to go in my opinion. It prevents the watering down of a great honour.
