With the way this defense has played all night, I don’t understand why we don’t try for the onside kick.

I don’t think the Bombers win with 10+ passes thrown, the way Streveler is playing.

I need to see it again but that looked like the definition of a suicide pass. Seems odd to blame Wilson in this case. Receivers are not allowed to block before the ball is caught.

Fair enough, but from my perspective, giving Streveler a ninth throw seems more likely to result in another sack, interception or suicide pass to a vulnerable receiver as it is to result in a positive gain. He has absolutely zero pocket awareness or improvisational ability.

Exactly, as ugly as it was, the game plan worked. What is Hogan supposed to do with a completely incompetent QB at the helm?

Either you trust him and his ability to get your team back into it or you let someone else play. Doing neither of those things is a recipe for losing every single time.

If Streveler is trotted out for the 3rd quarter, that’s 100% on O’Shea. It really can’t get any worse than Streveler at this point.

At least try to draw a PI or something. It doesn’t do any good to be ultra conservative in that situation, down 10.

Why are we running the ball over and over with 30 secs left on the clock? I understand that Streveler throws about as well as a potato but you have to try to get into field goal position there.

Wow Streveler has completely lost any ability to throw, and much of his ability to run. What’s the harm in giving Wilson a try?

I’m stoked to see Wilson back in the lineup today. I think getting our top receiver back from last year is a bigger deal than people are making it seem!

I’m usually the first one to defend the officiating but I agree. What happened to “Eligible receivers of both teams have an equal right to the ball”?

You have to admit Streveler has pretty wacky throwing mechanics. Have you ever seen him feather a nice screen pass over a defender’s hands? He seems completely incapable of making certain basic throws. Even the one deep ball he threw last night was completely embarrassing. He didn’t give Wheatfall the slightest chance to catch it.
