Yes. Not taking advantage of the DA rule is pretty ridiculous. It’s interesting seeing our depth chart vs others. I’m always like what is this DA thing Calgary is using or Hamilton or Toronto or bc or Sask or Ottawa or Montreal or Quebec City or Edmonton even.

Pokey would be elite. Vaval is also an elite return guy But other than that, maybe on D I’d say Woodbey was looking leigit and is a big loss, I liked Allen at safety last year, not sure if his injury is legit or not, but besides those guys, yeah really, nothing. Other than guys who were drafted like an MCI type who shows serious potential. I mean you could say Ayers is an elite sp teams player. But I dunno. That’s reaching here.

I guess the problem I see. I’ll use Kramdi as an example. Regardless of what some say, the guy makes plays when he’s closer to the LOS, when he’s a LB, I think he’s a legit starting Canadian in the league. JY puts him at safety, further away from the LOS, he becomes less effective. I think instead of trying to reinvent the wheel on D, you just need to put guys in spots they are best and leave them there, how can you possibly gain any sort of defensive momentum or I’ll call it synergy when you constantly moving dudes around. Kyrie in the middle has been a disaster? Jones makes 8 tackles a game and none for losses but they are moved around quite a bit also. Hell one of these games ceresna gonna line up at corner.

I think the argument could be made that Wade Kyle and O’Shea are complacent and content. Perhaps being the pinnacle of the cfl has gone to their heads a bit. TSN starting to jerk us off a bit, the fans not the team. They prob take credit for that. Wade? He’s happy aslong as the stands are full. Kyle? Seemed like he did his stuff in the winter now it’s quiet time. O’Shea? Wasn’t happy with the D after the game that much was obvious, but think he’s realistic with his expectations and probably didn’t think they would go 18 and O. Maybe didn’t think the D was gonna be the problem after 2 weeks either, not sure any of us necessarily expected the D to be this bad. So I mean I guess, when it comes to O’Shea, if the O is solid, special teams are solid but the D is terrible, is that really on him? O’Shea comes across more as a gives a speech every now and then and not the X’s and O’s Type. Less Dinwiddie more Mike Ditka in that leader of men type instead of analytical like a Sean McVay or Dinwiddie. I’m not sure he’s not giving lots of say to his coordinators. Perhaps it’s time to reel JY in tho, cuz the O is solid, special teams are solid. D isn’t. Is that on O’Shea squarely? Definitely not.

He had 4 less receiving yards than Kenny lawler last game on 1 less catch. I mean do you think all our receivers should be pushing 100 yards cuz besides Cobb, Nield was over 100. Wilson was close, Demski And white each had 79 yards. Brady had 51 receiving. The last option had 4 less yards than lawler.

Some people I think forget the C in cfl stands for Canadian and you have to dress so many and start so many, we aren’t the only team who starts more than necessary. Going on and on about Osh and his talent evaluation is insanity. It’s a never ending cycle of I know more than O’Shea does cuz I said so, Osh has his favourites and always will, like most of you don’t have your favourites? Who exactly is O’Shea favouring now? If O’Shea has a problem it’s that he gives his coordinators to much say, that much is obvious. Everyone wants to make it black and white like O’Shea is deciding who is on O D and special teams but it’s been said by every one of the damn coaches that it’s a collaborative effort yet it’s oshea . It’s just ridiculous already. The O and special teams are rolling, that’s Condell and miller tho, d sucks, that’s cuz oshea cuz oshea oshea oshea. Like really. Just repeating things over and over and over. Same old ****. More ppl used to partake in discussions on this site, god I wonder why they don’t anymore.

To be fair that was pi there, refs just change the rules from play to play cuz if that’s not pi how is Williams on lawler. Where is this eye in the sky for late hits on star QBs. They call down cuz bombers are 2 feet short but low hit on QB, nah. It’s just a guessing game. Rule changes are fine. Inconsistent dumb refs tho? That’s this leagues biggest problem and has been for years. Play to play you really aren’t sure what is and what isn’t gonna be called.

I’m also gonna, when talking oline I think lots of times we talk of guys like Stan and broxxton types but it appears that the true perhaps anchor on our line is Pat Neufeld. Last year it was him and Randolph opening up holes and protecting Zach the best. This year it’s him and broxxton while Stan and Gabe struggle again.

But I think I’d have a chat with JY and remind him Richie is still here. I may look at Eli at center if 100 Percent healthy and dress an American receiver eventho 6 of the top 8 receivers yesterday were bombers and lawler had 3 maybe 4 more yards than Cobb on 1 extra catch also. Wheatfall had a game but receivers weren’t an issue at all last night or through 2 games.

Kramdi is the guy out there directing the D. Essentially it appears he’s the Bighill of the D. It was him telling guys where to line up when they look confused. Perhaps having him closer to the LOS would help. Just looks like lots of confusion on D, guys visibly looking like they aren’t sure of their assignments or guys defending routes that aren’t being run. My guess, it’s a bit 2 complicated and JY needs to Keep it simple stupid. But what killed us in the end wasn’t Bo and the passing game. Dude threw for 287 ish? Had like 4 explosion plays really. But what killed us was we couldn’t stop the run. Guys couldn’t tackle. If dudes made tackles at first contact lots of times those drives probably die but Kyrie jones etc were just getting owned. Fletcher appeared to be over matched significantly on the DL. Ceresna gets 3 sacks all on the inside last week. Let’s move him outside. Yeah 455 net O is bad when 287 of that is passing. Couldn’t stop the pass. Bo only had 5 incompletions (Zach had 7) and couldn’t stop the run (171 to 49 yards there). Hamilton couldn’t stop the pass tho. 421 for Zach.

I would say I’m pleasantly surprised as a fan at Zach and the O. More so Zach tonight tho. He looked like early years Zach. As a fan the O is encouraging to me.
