I think the problem with that suggestion is then you lose casual fans who were never going to the game anyways but might tune in on TV just because football is on... Also, it penalizes long term season ticket holders who have to miss live games due to other commitments... then they have no opportunity to watch the game...

The only slight change to the one I highlighted is that seeds 1 and 2 should go to the top team in each division, regardless if the 2nd place team on one side has a better record than the other first place team… that keeps some significance to the divisional split and increases the chances of an east/west Grey Cup…

You could make the case for a Bombers sweep... MOP - Collaros MODP - Jefferson, Bighill, or Jeffcoat MOR - Alford MOC - Demski MOOL - Bryant Coach - Osh But that won't happened for two reason... other players around the league have been good (or better in some cases) too... and they would never let one team sweep... I'm thinking Collaros, one of those defensive players and O'Shea are basically a lock...
