How many reps. can Nichols get in before the weekend...IF Brohm is starting we are in a deficit before we hit the field...Guess we can always hope that our D can win one for us against a poor rider offence as I don't have any faith in 'hoppy' behind centre...Could be a disaster...As for the trade to get Nichols....wasn't super happy but at least he has some credibility in the league...AND for a CONDITIONAL seventh...esks. were in a generous mood..

I had a nasty feeling that the riders would wait until they had to play us to make the change...They pulled that crap on us before, putting in old man Miller when they fired their last coach...won both the banjo and labour day tilts...History repeating itself???If we can't sweep that bad team there will be a firing here, I would think, but by then the horse would have left the barn...Season ender for us...On the other hand there's a glimmer of hope...Riders are a very bad team....offensively and defensively...I guess we'll find out who is worse after these 2 games...If I was Mike O I'd be a tad worried...........Note to O'Shea....fire Bellefool NOW and promote Howell so we can go in there with a new coach (sorta) of our own..

IF Wild is coming back north....get on it Walters....It's a no-brainer to get Ian back in the fold...He will improve the d with his attitude and aggressive play...Hate to see him lose out down south BUT I like him in our line-up.

IF we don't sweep that lame bunch then we are in next year country and there will certainly be some serious questions about the coaching and management of this team.....They better have some answers.

Back to the command centre for Higgins...IF the Bombers ever entertained the idea of hiring this guy, I'm glad they passed...Their alternative in Mont. was to put Popp behind the bench...lol...his record as coach speaks for itself and it ain't pretty...Als fans have seen this before and the result...I see a lot of their faithful squirming in their seats right about now...Basement bound..

Picard has been a big disappointment in an area that we really needed to shore up....Winding down his career I guess, but I thought he would bring more than he has...Next on the list ..Neufeld ...too many hurts keeping him from being really aggressive, as he needs to be.

Given the position of both the Bombers and riders in the standings....and if you were a player on the market...which team would you prefer...all other things being equal....Pretty sure the BigBlue have the best shot...

I would feel a heckuva lot better seeing Marvelous start...but just as worrisome is a little guy named Owens....don't know if he'll be back in their lineup, but if he is, and the way our special teams have been playing has me a little uneasy...Seeing this guy ripping us on returns is something I'm not looking forward to..???
