I don't think Andrew Harris was that endeared with Cortez or any of that leo coaching staff....IF we want to remain in the fa hunt for Harris, that wouldn't be a positive.

.....With the negative statements Wally had for Harris, like 'you could go work in a bank and nobody will notice you'...I think it would be a stretch to see Harris back in the leo fold next year...Buono also had some other choice remarks for Andrew that would make it difficult for him to re-sign there BUT we shall see.

...Jones the 'gambler' will go where the money is...Who's to say that Herv. and Edm. won't sweeten his position and up his salary though...Good bargaining chip to play against the roughies no matter how this shakes down..

...I have a feeling that Buff is the Jet being talked about in the trade for Hamonic...Islanders want more...a lot more for the young talented kid from St. Malo ...Hamonic would likely be a Jet for life (I said likely) and that is a real bonus for us and Chevy...Tough to let that kind of deal go BUT if it means getting this team back on track then make a decision...Either make the deal (if possible) or walk...Letting this drag on is taking it's toll...I luv Buff and I know the players and fans alike are not going to like seeing him leave....BUT something has to shake loose soon..Maybe the Islanders asking price is just too high and we keep bargaining...Rumour is there might be a third team player for Hamonics services or 4th...we don't know In any case I'd like to see us make a decision soon...This is not helping the franchise..Glad it's Chevys job and not mine

...Sure has been quiet so far for a Grey Cup week in our backyard....I guess considering the state of our team, that probably has a lot to do with it...Not even any substantial rumours about an oc hire or the like... I remember a few years back when there was all kinds of talk from the media about us hiring Mike Kelly during the Cup back east...Didn't seem to detract from the game.. Guess we're not interesting enough...And as far as the actual game itself, it seems to have been a struggle to sell IGF out, not a good sign...I wish I could get more 'up' for the festivities...but I feel something is missing...Maybe next year will straighten things out for me and a few other fans....I hope.

The Jets better quell the Hamonic trade talks before this team hits the dumpster...And anyone thinking that this isn't having a negative effect on the team is kidding themselves...IF you are a Jets player and know that might be moved in a trade...well that is unsettling as it gets ...We know something is going on behind the scenes and so do the players...So my advice to the team is either poop or get off the pot before this season becomes a nightmare..I thought we had better management than what is being displayed at the moment. I remember a quote from Harris during the Cup interviews, when we played the leos in Van. ...eons ago (seems like anyway) that he grew up wanting to be a Bomber....Walters will give him that chance I'm sure...A huge upgrade at what we have now and a no-brainer..

The Jets (True North) better start spending money or they'll find themselves buried in the division basement shortly...Mind you the schedule makers sure haven't been kind to the Jets or Bombers for quite awhile...No excuses for bad play but they do have an out there...Why is it we get the raw end of the schedule stick??? The Ladd situation is not helping either and that's on the gm.

If something doesn't change someone is going to have get moved...Red flags have gone up and if this team wants to avoid looking the Bombers, they better get their act together...Something is amiss..

That was the sloppiest, inept attempt at tackling I've witnessed for quite awhile...Some players seemed that they were disinterested in remaining in bluengold...grant them their wish with a release....Fighting for jobs my arse...they were taking a trip east to get a last look at skydump...I have to wonder about motivation as far as O'Shea goes and lack of..Numerous times this year the team looked unprepared and that's on the coach...Mike O better do a better job next year at getting these guys that remain the motivation it takes...You'd think as a professional it should be a given but that's not the case with some of the players...Get rid of the deadwood starting NOW and for cripes sake start with the inept coach and qb....So long Marcel and Brohm...I'm sick and tired of seeing those 'waste of spaces' being in our employ....Good luck Wade and Walters....you are now on the clock.

I recall a game at the old stadium in the late 50's (yeah I've been around that long)when a canuck player by the name of Glen McWhinney dove over for a td and broke his neck... Bombers were devastated...End of a very promising career...This is a very tough game and injuries are going to happen...You just hope that there isn't any that are career ending...Watched the Tom Pate game as well...I recall his linemates trying to hold him up as he collapsed..Scary stuff and thankfully very rare.

Simplified and brief overview of Mike O'Sheas strengths and weaknesses/ ....Strengths....the players like him...Weaknesses ... doesn't or can't WIN and that's a big one if you want to remain a head coach of a professional football team...So do we stick with the lovable (most likely just the players) loser?...Big decision time for Wade.

Looked like Burris got his hand banged up in that last play...and I think Jeramiah Johnson most likely is done for awhile...IF that is the case Ottawa just took a big hit .. Injuries to other clubs catching up....Hate to see it at the best of times but sadly a part of the game...We shall see.

...Then we better get our heads read..I don't usually comment on 'fire him' threads because I believe a coach or player or gm/ceo deserves a proper shot at showing what they can do...Having said that you don't reward failure and expect to show progress..In fact you do the opposite...if you can't get the job done ...time to find someone who can...Maybe the time is not right for a change at the head coaching position, or anywhere else,and the end of the year seems most likely...Everyone will be reviewed ,and if it looks they are not getting the job done I'd be a tad worried, if the record we are sporting now stays the same..
