Looks that way. Sask. may be switching to a Cdn. backfield with Morris.

According to Paul Friesen: #Bombers won't be in on RB Kienan LaFrance. Oh well, I want more Flanders anyway.

Mostly through sarcasm. Wasn't all that impressed with the film on MBT, so I hope he's not penciled in as #3. This approach reminds me too much of "Year Two" when they stood pat with Brohm and a twice-broken Marve.

Bombers Off-Season Transactions
So in the last half year since they brought MBT in for a tryout, they've only found one QB prospect worthy of bringing in for TC??? I take it "turn over every rock" is not this scouting team's motto...

Watch the movie Dogs of War and you'll see where some of that money on pallets went.

This is nothing new, it's been going on since the beginnings of government, it's just the way it is and there's nothing any person or party can do to change it. There will be another big war, eventually the American Empire will collapse and the cards will be reshuffled so that they can do it all over again.....but it will end up the same. Call me a pessimist if you like but I believe I'm a realist.

That's pretty much what Walters said he would do a few days ago, adding Westerman or Nevis is pipe dreaming at this point. I expect Sask. will probably be spending wildly and picking up some big name players as their current roster has gaping holes to fill.

New owners, but there is no evidence yet that they're better.

Haha, xactly.

Different circumstances as they were driving for the playoffs when they acquired Glenn. If Davis is a flop, vet. QB's will still be available later in the season if they choose to replicate that action. Who's going to pay these guys #1 money? Dan Lefevour should know better by now.

Gale is a pocket passer with poor mobility, if I never see another of those in B&G I'll be semi-happy.

Nah, saw enough of him.

Hard to believe Nichols will go injury free for a second straight year, if he goes down and we get to see Davis for a couple of complete games that will be a good indicator of his upside.

Anyone with "big plans" in the U.S. better scurry across the border soon, as it looks like we're next in line for a border wall. Well worth watching just to see the reporter lose control of her eye-movement starting around the 2:00 mark, it looks like they are desperately seeking to escape from her head. A tad distracting.

Didn't the Bombers recently sign Glenn January as an O-line assistant?
-
Bombers Off-Season Transactions
I know but as Walters said they would try to retain some of their role players, and like him or not Hurl is a good player to have as a backup for the right price.
-
Bombers Off-Season Transactions
No word on the fate of Hurl or Neufeld and Walter's didn't group them in with players like Kohlert who would be going to F.A. so I wouldn't be all that surprised if they were retained another year. I think Neufeld has one more year left on his contract anyway.

Good interview with Walters, well worth a listen. http://www.bluebombers.com/2017/02/09/gm-kyle-walters-quieter-free-agency-predicted/ Interesting points. -Jake Thomas taking on larger role this year. (he played 50% of snaps last year) -Money spent on DE's will be saved on young DT's. -Davis will be #2. -Burnett may be back as he hasn't signed an NFL contract yet, so there is hope. -Not likely to sign any starters in first days of F.A. but will be looking for support players and good fits salary wise. -Likely to try to retain current F.A. Natl. ST players before next week. (Sherman etc.) -Bass not offered a contract, they see him more as a WIL than a MLB and Wild is already under contract. -JFG will be given an opportunity to play larger role. (Bye-bye Rory) -Fogg and Kiernan Duncan potential kick returners to replace McDuffie.

Dunk seems fairly sure of himself. This from the CJME website: However, in an interview on the Green Zone Thursday afternoon, Dunk said he sticks by his report. "The report stands for itself. It happened," he affirmed to Jamie Nye, adding his anonymous sources were solid. Dunk declined to elaborate on who those sources were, stressing he needed to protect them, but said he had been working on the story for days before it appeared on 3 Down Nation. "I wanted to make sure — before it was reported — that everything was locked down."
