  1. Nah BS, your reply is the definition of an inferiority complex and the comforting acceptance of mediocrity, to say this team can not be equal to Edm. or Cgy. 4 years into the regime is ludicrous. They demonstrated that they were a good team last year and played equal with those two teams, I expect them to be a better/smarter team this year and not repeat the same mistakes they made in the WSF by easing off the throttle and blowing a sizeable lead. I defer to O'Shea and Walters to make the right personnel decisions to improve the team as they seem to be on the right track. What they lack at this point is the conviction to win, smart in game coaching and a fire in the belly to get the job done.
  2. After 3 or 4 two and outs a smart coach would have stuck in LeFevour for a series to get them over the hump and back on track. Two benefits, LeFevour is a spark plug and it gives Nichols a chance to refocus and pull his head out of his butt.
  3. That's typical BS that goes along with any big project whenever a politician or developer steps up to speak about creating jobs while holding out their hand for public funding. You may see an accountant standing in the background representing some form of financial responsibility but they never let him near the microphone.
  4. Great article on QB ball placement and stretching the field by Marshall Ferguson, interesting that Nichols takes more long shots than any other QB but has among the lowest success rate completing those passes. https://www.cfl.ca/2017/07/21/ferguson-stretching-field-downfield-efficiency/?utm_source=feedburner
  5. So looking forward to L.D. this D-line will not let him escape the pocket the next time.
  6. Very true, which is hilariously hypocritical as they hate T.O. , ONT. and QC with a passion bordering on irrational psychosis.
  7. Glenn has played as well as can be expected so far this year and has been fairly elusive avoiding sacks, but it only takes one beat down game like Reilly experienced last night to bring reality back into focus. Glenn will lose the false bravado shortly and the meek and mild QB that lies at his core will re-emerge, throwing balls up for grabs and turtling in a desperate attempt to avoid being hit. He will be hit and he will be injured sooner or later and when that happens Jones will be relying on Bridge to save his hide.
  8. Geeze, I thought that kind of play was why they drafted Spooner, looked like a good football play to me.
  9. I'm hoping Wally spends the game muttering, "Awe ****, there goes Dressler again".
  10. If Collaros doesn't run, he's not much better than Durant.
  11. That could be the straw that breaks the camels back, essentially they're now starting 3 rookie DB's out of 6 positions counting SAM. Add the unproven Hurl/Knox combo at LB and the BC receivers may run wild in the secondary.
  12. That's a killer, now why wouldn't they use Carmichael in the spot that he spent T.C.?
  13. There once was a killer named Loffler Who replaced Macho who was awfuller His mullet is cool His method severe He starred in Fargo as "da Waffler"
  14. I didn't think so, it was a blow out with more than a half of garbage time, worst game this season so far imo.
  15. Two ways to look at it I guess, being celebrated or carried to the slaughter......maybe both?
  16. Stoopid Kavis!!!
  17. I'm still trying to wrap my brain around "GOAT" now being considered a compliment, when it used to be an insult. No one wants to be the "goat".
  18. Funny, the names of the two players involved have not been mentioned in any of these discussions, it's all about Karen and that damn prize money.
  19. Sounds like Lulay gets the call. TSN Radio Vancouver‏Verified account @TSN1040 LISTEN @ScottRintoul: Expect @BCLions to rest Jennings at least one game @CFL
  20. Wrong thread.
  21. A ginger that throws rainbows is a beautiful thing to behold.
  22. Nichols has to rediscover his chemistry with Adams and put him to work, that's a priority over what any 3 or 4 receiver will contribute at this time.
  23. Thankfully the Bombers are no longer in the temp. player mode, that's a Sask. thing.
  24. To be noted, currently ahead of any Sask. receiver in terms of reception yards thanks to the Sask. D.
  25. Not really, Green just became yesterday's sandwich, so they replaced him with a fresher one. Only time will tell if Jeffcoat is better. Green (6-3, 265, Miami, July 9, 1991 in Tifton, GA) spent last season with Winnipeg, playing in 13 games and recording 22 defensive tackles, three sacks and one interception.
