  1. Thank-you Mr. Party-Pooper.
  2. Popp is in no position to laugh at anyone else, he earned his firement.
  3. I think Adams forced their hand, rumour has it he has been disgruntled ever since they signed Durant and being relegated to #3 probably put him over the edge. Why they picked up Willy remains a mystery.
  4. They looked pretty darn good against the Stamps, should be ranked 3rd in reality.
  5. He also made an excellent ST tackle on the kick return that ended the first half, Morris would have turned the corner if it wasn't for Lankford's BLAZING speed cutting him down. Add that to the TD saving tackle he made on Logan earlier this year that makes 3 TD's scored and at least one he's prevented. The guy is a human grey-hound, LaPo just needs to figure out how to utilize his speed more effectively and more often and rewards will be reaped. Much like McDuffie last year, Lankford is a great specialty tool to have in the toolbox.
  6. The amazing thing is that there was no flag on the play, it sure looked like a direct helmet hit.
  7. I think it's S.O.P. throughout the league now to keep the QB's alive and well but the Rider O-line has always relied heavily on this tactic going back to the days of Picard.
  8. The Edmonton game will be tougher than scrapping with a wild cat fighting for it's life, especially after this string of losses. They'll have a lot of their starters back by then and the Bombers will have to play their absolute best to beat them in their house.
  9. Is it wrong to get all tingly thinking about stopping the truck and putting it in reverse?
  10. On the Roosevelt TD, right off the snap Jones trotted towards the right side of the line taking himself out of the play completely. Not sure if that was his read or that was his assignment but it certainly didn't help abandoning the safety position on that play.
  11. Funniest thing is he lost his hat at some point in the process and his ears were vibrating, the video of that freak out is going to go viral and be preserved for eternity.
  12. It would be hilarious if Bartel was miked up on that play, he must have been losing his mind. "Mates, yer going the wrong way, Mates! Mates!!!!"
  13. Wow, Maas just lost his mind, Austin would be shocked. Excellent game between the Esks. and Stamps, no thread.
  14. Nichols played very well, 3 TD's, no intercepts, no 2 and out strings and ran the ball like a beast despite the fumble. Complete leader.
  15. Hopefully stuffed full of amphetamines.
  16. No reason Santos-Knox can't continue to play on ST, Hurl, Bass, Leggett, lot's of starters play ST.
  17. Bringing Wilson onto the roster from the PR seems a bit bizarre, he's occupying a roster space but I'm betting they have no intention of playing him and we won't see him. Meanwhile Thorpe and Poop who have both proven themselves will be left standing on the sideline in street clothes.
  18. Very interesting details on Hurricane Irma provided by the BBC. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-41172545
  19. Third on the pecking order, I can't see him getting any playing time this year unless they have a rash of injuries among their Natl. receivers. Should be a good battle at next year's TC though.
  20. I don't get it, previously Nevis was only playing about 50% of the snaps as he gets double teamed a lot, who's spelling him if Jake is in there just as much if not more.
  21. Santos-Knox was allowed an interview today, me thinks this is not a coincidence and he will be knoxing da other Knox out of the lineup this week.
  22. If they can't beat the Stamps in that last game they are beyond hope of going far in the playoffs. Have to at least beat their "B team".
  23. Walker Sr. played in the NFL, another player with a good pedigree. Darnell Walker (born January 17, 1970) is a former cornerback in the NFL. He played for the Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49ers, and Detroit Lions from 1993-2000.
