  1. Not new news, but old hat. When O'Shea introduced the unproven Drew Willy as his starter at his first press conference I knew something wasn't quite right.
  2. Nah, the Bombers were never going to win that game, it was just a question of when the colossal momentum the Stamps built up would crush them like a cheap beer can.

Yay! Way to go Moe. Please teach your QB that simple phrase.

LaPo hasn't been good for Nichols lately, and Nichols hasn't been good for LaPo.
  5. Disappointing yes, but it's a start. Make the playoffs and anything can happen. It might be good that the Bombers are playing horrible ball right now, they have time to work through it, I doubt it can persist for the remainder of the season, but if it does....there will be consequences.
  6. Nichols looks clunky when he tries to roll out, have to believe the knee brace is a bigger hindrance than he's admitting.
  7. Petermann is dressed, no reason he can't get some reps. Need to see a big game from all 5 receivers.
  8. Where have they hidden Flanders this week? Edit: Back on the PR.

Cool but what's the point of killing bugs outdoors? If it worked inside with out causing damage to furniture or making a mess I could see the point.
  10. In reality you can't expect Lankford or Washington or Petermann or any other inexperienced receiver on the squad to alter and adapt their routes without years of playing experience and a full understanding of the play being called. This is one essential ability that is learned and has helped tiny Dressler establish an all-star career over the past 10 years.
  11. This especially applies to Dressler, he's very good at breaking off routes and getting into Nichols field of vision at mid-depth to help him out, Nichols relies on him heavily and is less effective when he's absent. Hard to pass that savvy onto a new receiver who is mostly concerned with running the route as designed and holding onto the ball if thrown to. Tasker does the same for Masoli.
  12. The L.O.S. The L.O.S. is aprox. 1 ft. before the Esks. 15 yd. line, at 2:26 Reilly reaches that point and is still in possession of the ball, by the time he releases the ball his entire body is beyond the 15 yd. line. The caveat is that he was airborne when he released it, but to me a plane is a plane and he definitely broke it. https://www.cfl.ca/2018/08/23/ticats-character-win-aids-sweeping-season-series-vs-esks/
  13. Alright, now we're in to "run shaming"? At least he's not a fat bastard!
  14. I re-watched it five times, he crossed it no doubt, he went a full foot beyond the L.O.S.. How the frick they let that go is beyond me.
  15. AB. has abundant NG, they should have led the way in shutting down coal fired generators, instead they're dragging their heals. If you think they're okay you need to go live down wind from one, it'd shave 5 years off your life.
  16. Mike Reilly
  17. Voila.
  18. Pffttt...Nichols comments are the reason the booing got blown out of proportion to begin with, before he publicly sulked the only other person talking about it was Suitor, attempting to whip up a QB controversy.
  19. Awe must have been much cheaper than Bighill, glad it worked out this way.
  20. Nichols said after the bye week that he was 100% healthy, if he lied about his health to rush back in than that is an issue as well. From his previous experience with Jones in Edm. I'm sure he's been left with all sorts of mental scarring after being replaced and discarded.
  21. Bombers will be in full out damage control this week, Darren Cameron has his work cut out for him. It will be interesting to hear how they respond to the torrent of criticism that has been thrown at them.
  22. Oh golly, look what I found....
  23. BC definitely, how long can anyone expect Lulay to stay healthy.
  24. Esk. recievers must practice making these ridiculous catches, Reilly probably doesn't even try to throw accurately in practice.
