  1. I forget, did they actually cut Priester? Can't see the logic, he was the "next up" even before Sayles and didn't look out of place in the games he appeared in, maybe he requested his release.
  2. I suppose Choudja is the next up. Choudja (6'3, 263, Nevada, April 11, 1996 in Oakley, CA) played four seasons with the Nevada Wolfpack, totalling 93 tackles, four and a half sacks and four forced fumbles in 50 games. Choudja signed with the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent in 2018 and spent time on the Bombers? practice roster earlier this season.
  3. A ruptured larynx is no joke.
  4. Just as concerned with players returning to their O and D lines, playing the Stamps sooner is better imo. Returning personnel is not as much a concern against the Riders, if they play their game the Bombers can physically beat any team they can field.
  5. Was that not with Henry?
  6. Uh uh, don't want an asterisk beside any playoff success this team achieves so Rider fans can denigrate it for the next half century. Take it straight down the pipe and prove the Bombers are currently the better team head to head against the Stamps, Riders and the East representative. No question, it's time to stand up and deliver.
  7. Agreed, only one catch but it was for 60 yds. and basically won the game.
  8. No sleep until TBurg reports, my mind is racing trying to anticipate in which direction he's going to spin this performance. 😁

Oy vey. Rider Express bus service to start in Western Canada on Monday https://globalnews.ca/news/4398515/rider-express-expanding-services-across-western-canada/ This is their bus trip to Hawaii. Thanks, no thanks.
  10. What a ghastly mistake.... Nothing quite this bad since.....
  11. The question does spring to mind.....was Jake dead or alive when he whispered this opinion?
  12. They're not likely trying to change anyone's mind, they're most likely fishing to locate "like-minded" individuals with a deep-seated hate for the NDP and Liberals to solicit donations for their cause and to encourage them to get out and vote on election day.
  13. Looks like Jones just got over-Ridered.
  14. I dunno, in Walters latest press-conference he mentioned Dressler seeking a one-year deal, but I don't know if he was referring to this year's contract or next.
  15. For the record. "Mannix is notable for the high level of physical punishment he withstands. During the course of the series, he is shot and wounded over a dozen separate times, and knocked unconscious around 55 times." ......and yet, every week he was up and ready to take another pounding!
  16. That reminds me, I haven't watched Mannix in about 3 decades. Thanks!
  17. ...and in the distance the original Polo Park which was replaced by the mall in 1959.
  18. Bunk, no beds in flophouses.
  19. I believe Wally owes them some payback, hope he gets poached.
  20. No problem, as long as Simonese is comparable to the best 2 import receivers they can field. I see Petermann as Dressler's best replacement and Wolitarsky fitting in wherever needed, slot or WR.
  21. Mostly from what he has shown this season, which isn't much. Admittedly I have not seen a lot of footage of him in other locations, so I could be wrong. Bird in the hand scenario, I'm happy with the 3 Natl. receivers that have produced and shown more promise and don't see room for 4. Long list of Natl. receivers across the league that never evolve beyond promise (Bailey, Chambers, etc.) also influences my opinion.
  22. Not sure what you see in Simonise but I don't see him panning out, he's all arms and legs (Aaron Kelly) and doesn't seem to have the physical presence needed to be effective in today's game. I could be wrong but I'd hold onto Petermann, Wolitarsky and Demski and pair them up with the best two imports they can find, as long as LaPo is running the show. Forgotten man is Matt Coates who will probably catch on with another team once healthy.
  23. What I really like about this year's game plan is they rarely abandon the run-game, that can make the O look very conservative but for the most part it pays dividends.
  24. The TEAM wins 31-0 and you come out the other end worrying about Nichols' individual stats??? Credit must be given to the efficiency the Bombers used to dispose of the Riders, all 3 phases played very well, not a lot of mistakes were made. Next game is next game and different circumstances will be at play but if Nichols and crew perform with the same efficiency they will most likely win, no matter who the opponent.
