Amazing the number of times the word STUPID is used ... total unreasoned emotion .... no logic ... no examination ... no justification ... "fraidy-cat of change" thinking .... the convert changes add real excitement and an outcome difference maker .... adding more pass completion to 2 down football means more drives and scoring ... who wants two bucks and a kick type offence, yawn? .... kick returns even off converts for more big plays .... less driving through the 5 yard zone .... I love CFL over NFL because of the higher levels of excitement To those who cry STUPID I can only say KILLJOY in its most literal sense

No it just adds an exciting play at a scoring time .... reeks of condemnation hating real progress for greater fan pleasure ... more scoring ... more difference making plays

This is the ONLY good rule change. The rest of them all honestly suck and make me lose respect for the CFL. Funny what you respect eh?

Does caling it names justify your comment 1) convert becomes exciting 2) 2 & 3 point converts means better chance to win a fairly close game .... less run out the clock stuff 3) emphasis on fan fun instead of tradition for tradition

What has the draft have to do with it? If we are very lucky, one of our top 3 draft picks will start in the second half of this season; the rest will work their way into starting positions gradually in 2016 & 2017

What I am asking, I guess, is "will our US-based scouting system going to be doing a better job than merely filling holes?" It has been a while since we’ve seen new prospects capable of becoming superstars for our ball club. I am asking what can we expect from our US scouting system, realistically, this year, that can make us a significantly better team than last year. Are our scouts any better or worse than what we find in the rest of the league? Is coming up with all-star calibre players more than serendipity?

I don't think we have any interest in Curran. Based on what?

Maybe we sign Curran or Peters at linebacker; perhaps Walters does a little more magic in free agency… He seems to be very good at unearthing quality Canadians that no one has really noticed or cared about. We have three top picks in the upcoming CIS draft. We might get one of those three to start but the rest of the draft picks will be doing well just to fit in and add some depth. This year’s draft picks are two or perhaps three seasons away from having an impact on our team. So in terms of bringing in new talent, what we really have left is “mini camps”. Barring a major trade, the only place we are going to find impact players beyond what we already have is through our scouting system. Will we find a Milt Steagall, Charles Roberts or Chris Williams that can make all the difference in the world to our franchise? Will we find a terrorist to patrol our defensive line? Our line-backing looks thin. What import rookie had a real impact on our team last year? I guess what I’m asking is what is our American scouting personnel going to do for us this year?

You are the first to say "We will have to wait and see (I need more data)" : Need to wait for free agency to progress more, I wonder how many more think like this .... I know, we just can't help it

Are we now good enough to finish ahead of the Lions & Riders? On paper who has the best talent in the lower half of the west? In terms of heart and attitude who ranks best? Who is going to say "We will have to wait and see (I need more data)"?

Does anybody know Glenn's all time passing yardage and where he ranks on the CFL all-time list?

l expect we will have 1 QB in sick bay a fair bit .... may trade 1 qb if need be ... LOTS OF GOOD THINGS CAN HAPPEN ... good players eventually get their opportunity

LB need ... WIL has many body types ... ie DB types building young guys in house gives confidence to release veterans intersting guys on neg list
