Long time coming. When/if Bonner struggles, how much patience will constipated looking DD give him to work thru it till he looks back to JM? (My 14 year old mind is taunting me with his last name)

Yup, exactly and not having any specific suggestions based on our current AR talent, there seems to a lot of room for improvement in better achieving this.

I'm curious how the knowledgeable posters would rate our current blitz packages 12 games in? The answers are probably somewhere a plenty in previous posts but it's Friday so its be nice to HardCoreBlue day just in case some weren't aware.

Yup volunteered coached both my kids soccer and football starting at the age of five, football started at the age of seven all the way up until high school. My goal was to lovingly irritate the hell out of the parents and the real coaches who knew the ins and outs of these two great games. Goal accomplished, so much fun. btw multi sport for both my kids did wonders for their sport and non sport development.

I'd suggest that's the best course of action.

That's where you can make a lasting contribution imo. Grass roots as they say. 🙂

Okay fair enough a lot of us with young children have experienced this in the workforce but the point remains did he have follow-up conversations with management/other coaches before bailing? Before taking the signing bonus, did he communicate his family needs with management?

And even if by chance that one unnamed coach did indeed say that, have follow-up discussions with other coaches/management to verify what kind of culture he’s heading into. Having a discussion with one person than bailing on the team seems sus to me.

I love the internet for this exact reason said no one ever. It would be outstanding if one day down the road members both active and lurking (I know you’re there) meet in-person to offer up way more to each other than we do here.

The guy is teflon. His mantra: All good, me. All bad, someone else.

Like I said pure speculation at this point on all our parts until we hear more definitive reasons from the coaching staff on why they are currently using Strev in they way they are.

Still If I was a betting person I would bet that the reason this is happening with Strev who one could argue is in a different category of skill set than Brown and Prukop were last year is some sort of injury that is not being shared which opens up a whole lot of other issues to chat about if true. I hope less speculation and more facts come out in why the reluctance in letting Strev be an actual CFL QB not a running decoy presently they have him playing. I think its a reasonable expectation that paying fans have some level of detail if indeed its an injury impeding his play. It's not like its in the middle of the playoffs where coaches don't show their hands at all with current injuries players are dealing with.

I’m a big fan of his coaching approach. I think he deserves another shot at HC sooner than later in this league.

Yup for a lot of players. Current market standard seems to be pay player 6-8 years for 3-4 years of productive service.

Come year 3 or 4 of that contract, might not look as good.
