Bombers Off-Season Transactions
Yes and even after a month or so I'm still fascinated by this and other continuing things CJ does.

Bombers Off-Season Transactions
Yea we each have our favorites don't we.

Bombers Off-Season Transactions
That's my point, maybe we should have imo. It wasn't Atomic that raised the condescending issue with you responding to my post, it was me trying to decipher your approach.

Bombers Off-Season Transactions
Fair enough which fascinates me that the Roughies had the opportunity to invest in DD for a bit longer but chose the KG route. It's almost like he is taking the 'F you' approach to other teams but forgetting he is building an actual team that has to have some sort of logic/plan to it. Yes Chris Jones fans will tell me he's a genius and I wouldn't understand.

Bombers Off-Season Transactions
I wasn't suggesting Glenn be forced to accept less I was suggesting it might have been a good option to offer him something he would be okay with. Because we're not talking in-person, sometimes I'm not sure if you're trying to be sarcastic and funny or you're being an a** in responding to a post. To be metaphorically transparent with you.

Bombers Off-Season Transactions
Okay I understand the price tag reason but LeFevour instead of Glenn?
-
Free Agency Frenzy
So to get this straight. Roughies plan is to dismantle the core that was was previously built and rebuild it through FA and players that were released?

Around The NHL 2016/2017
Yes but as a few posters here regularly indicate we are in a rebuilding/development mode with no realistic goal of making the playoffs. Unlike the Blues, Habs and Bruins who consider themselves contenders this year. Therefore expectations of the coaching staff is different. btw, I can't stand this mindset.

Game 59 : Stars @ 24 Games Left
Apparently, as evidenced on TSN coverage of Gretzky I mean Matthews every fricking day, the Calder trophy is at his house already. Sorry Patrick.

What is what that handshake? Power, domination, control? I'm now more understanding the look the Japanese leader made. Insane.

First sexual assault by Syrian refugee in Canada
For some, yes, they want to know the whole picture, something one can safely say this is what's going on overall, taking in all the complexities, scenarios and realities. Some would call this a fact, some limitations attached to it, but not significant enough to dispute it. For others, they only want to 'know' if it fits into their entrenched narrative. If it doesn't, I'm not sure how much 'growing my understanding' is going on. I think we are all guilty of our entrenched narratives but some are better than others at catching themselves before it actually negatively and unfairly impacts someone else.

Chevy Moves or Nonmoves before the TD?
Penguins, he seems to fit their late season pick-up mo.

OK can we call a spade a spade and stop with the assinine Pav experiment already???
Losing Myers was significant to make this even worse. Changed the whole look of our defensive schemes. I think he's more important to this team then some realize imo.

I'm sensing that this is a hard number to track accurately (whether high or low) when I read the word undocumented.

The other component to this is I can well imagine the chaos and the toxicity this is causing amongst the people who are responsible for border crossing processes/guidelines/enforcements etc and the mixtures of attitudes/behaviours in how the will carry out their duties. Wow.

Around The League Off Season Discussion
At an Edmonton Eskimo Gala I attended (for the greater good I keep telling myself), Mr. Orridge was a guest. When he was up to talk, he was well articulate, promoted the league well and was a great ambassador for the Eskimos ensuring no favoritism. My experience was good. I may not agree with how he his handling the concussion issue but overall I've seen worse. He seems like a likable guy trying to do his best.

It's 2017 and the Riders just put _________ on their neg list ...
I think you're closer to the truth then joking on what motivates Jones. When he told Dickenson to win with some class what he really was saying was I want to be the winner not you so screw you classless person. I'll never forget Dickenson's face, 'what just happened here?' Jones is the same guy who publicly thinks handshakes at the end of games is pointless, waste of time, it's just a formality, going through the motions. #jerkface He could lead a team to 18-0 record with a grey cup in hand and I still wouldn't want the guy. He's good fit with Sask. He'd look good in TO as well.

Repeat after me: "Have faith in the process", "Chris Jones is a genius", "Have faith in the process", "Chris Jones is going to kill us", "Have faith in the process" . . .

If Glenn ends up their starter, remind me again why they let Durant go?

Game 54 : Three for the Road @ Lone Star
I was actually thinking the opposite, as in the Jets goal production has been better of late, the thing that can lose focus is their commitment to defensive responsibilities making a 5-1 game now a 5-3 5-4 game putting more pressure on the goaltender.
-
Game 54 : Three for the Road @ Lone Star
Just a random thought not taking any sides in rating our goaltenders but when the Jets happen to open up there offensive thrust can it also mean their defensive awareness goes down putting more pressure on the goaltender?

To me, the point is one can't zone in on one specific group. There are nuts in every group capable of doing very bad things to fellow human beings. I like the saying that when one points a finger at someone else, three are pointing right back at them.
