True but depending on how the OT frame is going and how the coach (es) are reading the play, at times it could mean you want more defensive awareness on the ice to get us into the shootout. It's not the first choice for sure but it may be an option you need to employ to give us the best chance on getting that extra point if the ice seems to be tilted in their favour.

Back in the day that would have been seen as a small miracle, huge accomplishment. Now it's, 'oh oh, the wheels are falling off'. It's hard to accept success sometimes. :-)

Controlling for opinions on what people think Trump has achieved since his time in office, one part of all this chaos for the last year and some that I'm fascinated with is the debate when asking the question: Is it as important in how things are achieved to what is achieved? It's interesting to read and hear the full spectrum of opinions on this in relation to Trump tenure thus far. In my opinion, I'm a firm believer that the how we achieve things is just as important to the what we achieve, more than just how the law/legislation/policies etc dictate how we can or cannot behave.

I'll take making the playoffs and playing anyone but if I had a choice, this is a team I don't want us to face, at least in the first round. They schemed us well last game we played against them. They almost drew up the perfect blueprint in how to neutralize our talent.

I didn't suggest it was a circus. Absolutely agree with the bold part of your sentence. However we can disagree on how much effort we need to spend on convincing. Imo, we need to set a professional courteous tone yet a tone of we spend a lot more of our energy on players who want to play here. Nothing wrong with a player being curious about the different organizations and needing to take care of himself and his family but balancing that with we are team made up of players who want to play here not a group of individuals with different priorities. I'm not necessarily saying HM is a self-absorbed guy because I don't know him , I just don't want people who only are about themselves, won't help with what I'm assuming Walters MOS and crew are trying to solidify. I was just using this scenario with HM as an example. I assume as an organization we are trying to create a culture, an identity where players, coaches, scouts etc want to be here and less we have to try so hard to convince people to come here. That's all.
