  1. I do wonder if the DB has the proper beard, though.
  2. Collins is big enough and hefty enough with a low center of gravity to stuff running plays. i look forward to seeing him at TC.
  3. We`ve had too many of those- so, training camp fodder.

Probably charged with `walking while black`.
  5. We are going to find out if he`s a stallion or gelding.
  6. Good info. Thanks.

No but that's not an issue since they had a girl. Well, she's going to have all kinds of problems making the team as a quarterback.
  8. Sounds like an intriguing prospect who, if he is as good as he seems, will be gone to the NFL in a year or two. Still, it would be a helluva story, good PR for the CFL, and maybe a well-deserved break for a young man who is chasing his dreams in spite of setbacks.

There is no recovery from having kids. It's a lifelong affliction, but if you are lucky, you get to have grandkids. There is a natural bond between grandparents and grandkids- they both hate the same people.
  10. More gooder Inglish.
  11. He's a WR ... No, he's a Volkswagen.

I would consider drfting his brother London, but he tends to fall down a lot.
  13. Sounds like an underdog we all can cheer for.
  14. I'm willing to cut Vega some slack, but if he and Peach are still here after training camp, we may be in trouble.
  15. Apparently he was a 5th round draft pick by the Bills in 2012 but sat out all of 2013 due to hip injury (carrying 320 lb- not a surprise) and was idle all of last year. Lord knows, he is a load and I would not have to foot the bill for his meals. i hope the Bombers have a list of all-you-can-eat buffets in Winnipeg handy.
  16. Ho hum. Gotta fill the spaces and look like you are actually on the job unearthing news.
  17. Genetics do not determine athletic or intellectual performance, otherwise we would have a lot of hockey players named Richard, Mahovelich, Gretzky, etc etc and have our scientists all named Einstein, Feynman, Da Vinci and so forth. The only three generations of pro athletes are named Wilson.
  18. Mike Reilly's bona fides were a lot better than Willy's when the Esks signed him.
  19. Tearing it up on the basketball court, apparently. That may be overstating his case. I have no doubt that pro basketball pays a lot better than the CFL with a lot less chance of being pancaked by a 300 lb lineman.
  20. I agree that Willy has shown potential but the sample size is too small for a massive raise. The only way might be to build in performance bonuses.
  21. The fall in crude prices is going to affect the provincial economy in Sask though not as badly as Alberta, but money is going to get tight there as well. I wouldn`t be surprised to see a few kerfuffles in the construction.
  22. I imagine there will be a few of these surprises, both public and not along the way.
  23. He could be a clutch 5-10 yard possession receiver.

Maher is what passes for a liberal in the US, but he is still obnoxious. It is is possible to make your point without coming across as an arrogant twit. Maher is what passes for a liberal in the US, but he is still obnoxious. It is is possible to make your point without coming across as an arrogant twit. His stance on political correctness is Big C Conservatism. No offence, but this makes no sense whatsoever. The phrase "big C Conservative" or "big L Liberal" is referring to someone belonging to a specific political party. Small c conservative is someone who holds a conservative ideology, completely different than belonging to the party. Maher is a classical liberal, which is usually called libertarian now. I agree that Maher is a Libertarian, but quite different from a liberal, at least in the Excited States. Down there, Libertarians are not far off the Tea Partiers in that they believe that any government presence or regulation at all is unwarranted. As an example- they both believe that governments ought not to mandate that restaurant employees wash their hands while on duty. So, if you get food poisoning, your recourse would be to sue the restaurant owner (if you survive the poisoning). Both subscribe to the Miltom Friedman University of Chicago economics model where the only role of government is to defend the state and enforce contracts. Extremists tend to merge in beliefs even if they start out saying they are quite different.
