Whats left on the shopping list
For those who fancy themselves beer conoisseurs, beers are like boobs. Guys may profess to prefer one type over another, but when it comes right down to it, they will grab whatever is available.

Stuart Olson alleges Triple B, province knew about design issues at IGF
That's a really black and white way of putting it. Many parts of this project changed constantly to be functional in any sense. Engineers are ensuring structural safety first and foremost, not necessarily function and cost. If there was some tragedy, like a collapse or something, the liability stuff would be relevant. This is about cost overruns, money. You are correct to some extent. Engineers look after structural and mechanical issues, as well as drainage. Architects look after people movements and accomodations, delight (visual appeal) and so forth. Function is a shared responsibility, but the cost is the responsibility of the general contractor who must use materials approved by the architect and/or engineers who set the specs. The cost can be either fixed at an amount by contract or cost plus a certain percentage, but either way all construction materials must meet building codes and the specifications.

I doubt if anyone short of an architect or engineer would have the ability to assess drainage, structure, mechanical or egress requirements- that is pretty technical stuff. If the architect or engineer puts a stamp on a schematic or blueprint, they OWN it. And the liabilities pass to them. If the general contractor does not follow the plans exactly or demurs, alters without putting it in writing back to the architect and/or engineer, the contractor is liable.

I can make sure you receive a Wiecek Award. Nothing less than a Tait, or I walk... Really fond of Taits are we?

Bomber Sign Five From Mini-Camp
Distance is hard to tell but Scanella looks to have darned good hang time on his punts. Wrong passport, though.

Chris Williams signs in Ottawa
Must be nice to play with other peoples' money.

Bombers add Jordan Reaves to neg list
If he ever gets used, that's my guess. Just get 10 yards or so downfield between the hashes and win the battle with his size. And he'll still need to either wait for an injury or two and/or show he has value on special teams before an opportunity like that will be given to him. Pure project player. Good article- thanks. But then, I'm starved for Bomber news.

Bombers Mini-Camp Roster
Any word on how young Mr. Reaves acquitted himself once he got up to speed?

New guys - High hopes? Low hopes?
Ah. The other brother Derrell.

Bombers Mini-Camp Roster
Well, Jon Wolf looks like he's got the wheels, but Robinson looks pretty mediocre.

New guys - High hopes? Low hopes?
I would rather have a guy that can do both, you know...like most of the other GMs. Yeah, I'm not sure having 25% of your starting lineup really strong and 75% kinda meh is a formula for success. Every GM we've had has demonstrated some positives and some negatives. What with them being human and all... Pff lame humans. When the robot revolution comes, all will be better. I, for one, will welcome our new overlords.

New guys - High hopes? Low hopes?
We say this every ******* year... Not really, during the Joe Mack reign of error, training camps were dull with few potential stars emerging or even pitched battles between talented players.

New guys - High hopes? Low hopes?
Looks like the best group of players challenging for jobs that we have seen in many a moon. Training camp will be very interesting.

Drew Willy tearing up the dance floor at his wedding!
Good on them for starting their life together with fun and enthusiam. It sure looks like Willy no longer qualifies for Worker`s Comp and is fully recovered from his owies. I wonder if Bob Fosse or Twyla Tharp choreographed the dancing.

And another talented athlete falls to the slag-heap of history. There's no rehab for stupidity- ask Shannon Sharper.

Ticats looking to trade CDN DT's?
Gaydosh could anchor our d-line for years, much as Dougie did. I'm not sure I would bend over backwards too much for him, particularly if we can draft Waud, but it is looking less and less likely that our two wayward draft choices who are floating around in the the US of A will be coming here anytime soon.

Expectations For 2015 Season
This has to be Goossen's year to step forward and claim a starter's role, or he will start to be seen as another draft choice who didn't pan out. If he and Neufeld are able to be good starters along with Greaves and Picard, a lot of our problems will go away.

A longshot no matter how you look at him. Athleticism, size and pedigree are all nice, but the training and experience are real hard to discount.

Expectations For 2015 Season
Great overall improvement- if we get any kind of decent QBing, we ought to be at least 10 and 8. And that's even before we reap the fruits of the 2015 draft. Calgary still looks to be the class of the league, but after that, its all a crapshoot, and somehow I think Durant is not going to be anywhere as effective as he has been before his injury. Ricky Ray will make his team an instant contender, and probably every one in the East will chasing Toronto. Wally Buono is still a wily old fox, so lets not forget his ability to pull rabbits out of hats.
