Nichols v strevler and the hole in our offense.
In a terrible scenario where you have to choose either Harris or Nichols being spared a season ending injury, and only one, only a total fool would spare Harris.

Nichols v strevler and the hole in our offense.
wbbfan and the usual crew taking their shots at Nichols, nothing new here. this utter lack of respect for our teams franchise player remains baffling. I can only guess its based on Nichols proving the Pro Willy crowd to have been delusional so they can't wait to tear this guy down.

Game Day Thread - Bombers @ Argos
The Bombers were in real peril of being the worst team in the West. As it turns out BC blew the game and we dominated Toronto. The comment was about the standings and nothing more. I think Nichols is the 2nd or 3rd best qb in the league and I get highly annoyed when I see people trying to chase him out of town. We've wandered the desert long enough without a real qb.

Hopefully second half goes well and the usual suspects can stfu about Nichols for at least a couple of weeks

BC @ Ottawa
Don't look now but we're about to be the worst team in the west and pretty convincingly so

Should Walters, Miller And The Board Of Directors Put Pressure On MOS To Fire Hall?
Wait, ONLY 20 points? Projected over a full game 20 points works out to... *runs some complicated algorithms* 40 points. I don't think anyone is cracking open a beer celebrating 20 points surrendered per half. Team loss. Period.

He was rushed. He'd be a good coordinator for the D. But big picture stuff and strategy and adjustments seem to still allude him. We can only hope he learns from his mistakes (that he keeps making btw) because he's definitely here for the whole season. Even if we miss the playoffs I doubt he gets canned.- Battle of Underperformers: Blue vs Double Blue in Doubleheader
MOS is a bad head coach. Trestman is a good head coach. I just wanted to say that. Carry on.- Game Day Thread- Week Five: Winnipeg @ BC July 14, 2018
So 24 hours later and my crushed heart after the Croatia game seems to know no rock bottom. In perspective the loss on Saturday isn't a big deal. But narrowed down a little it certainly is another log on the fire of Bomber fan misery. You just can't convince me this defense will be able to win a couple playoff games. At this point that's all I care about it: win a god damn Grey Cup. There's no reason why this bunch should be so bad and not be able to hang on to W's. Bighill must be apoplectic.- Game Day Thread- Week Five: Winnipeg @ BC July 14, 2018
I'm just as disappointed as anybody, and that lost really stings. But I have to say I'm really turned off by how the knives are just flying for Nichols right now. It still amazes me that Drew Willy gets more slack even now than Nichols would get. This team isn't going to win a playoff game with Streveler it has to be Nichols. Let's not get the lynch-mob just yet.- Week 4 Hamilton @ Saskatchewan
jesus christ, the unwashed rider hoards are back to full foaming at the mouth mode. these people are the worst of the worst, so glad they become completely irrelevant once the riders are done. its like having alabama in the middle of our wonderful nation.- Week 4 Hamilton @ Saskatchewan
On a side note, the quality of the play and the teams this year continues to be Dreadful. I don't know if I've ever seen such a bad product. We really need to look at the ratio- Week 4 Hamilton @ Saskatchewan
That's really makes the BC game even more vital. We can't afford to keep losing ground- Week 4 Hamilton @ Saskatchewan
Masolis throwing mechanics look ugly.- Week 4 Hamilton @ Saskatchewan
LOL that everyone who was suggesting Hamilton to be the best or second best team in the league.- Week 4 Hamilton @ Saskatchewan
If Montreal can lose huge at home to us and then beat the Riders on the road the next week anything can happen.- Do The Lions Eat Us Up Saturday Night?
Let me join you Mark, without Nichols I predict we will lose as well. Our D is so putrid we likely give Jennings the boost in confidence he needs to not only beat us, but, resurrect his season. I actually hope other teams put 40+ on our straigh to labour day and we fire Hall to save the season.- MTL @ SSK - Drew Willy Must Be Benched And Adams Playing
Jesus. Willy had a terrible half of ball and yet they're winning by 10. Sask is a tire fire and it feels just great.- A Long Term Team
FYP 0 playoff wins.- A Long Term Team
One of the biggest canard's I've ever read on this forum is it takes years and years to build a CFL team the right way. That's just not true. There's nothing wrong with showing patience, but it shouldn't take four to five years to get a high-quality team in a league of 9 and high turnover. Hamilton is demonstrating that, for god sakes Ottawa has a Grey Cup.- Should Walters, Miller And The Board Of Directors Put Pressure On MOS To Fire Hall?
Whats the excuse for the other 3 years of this D being garbage water? I mean, seriously.- Should Walters, Miller And The Board Of Directors Put Pressure On MOS To Fire Hall?
The defense has been a glaring issue for years. What makes anyone think management has suddenly changed their opinion? There's a built in excuse for them with Nichols out. Hall isn't going anywhere until the off season and it may take MOS' job being on the line to make him pull the trigger then.- A Long Term Team
I think it's early to proclaim Hamilton as the 2nd best team in the league. It's also early to proclaim our season is over, I'll grant that. I don't think it's too early to safely say this though: Our O is going to have to outscore our putrid D yet again. That's asking a lot considering injuries and the quality of the rest of the league has gone up sans Montreal. I'm mostly just disappointed that an obvious problem was ignored by management again and the results are predictable. - Battle of Underperformers: Blue vs Double Blue in Doubleheader
