i'd put Fogg #1 as well. He alone killed the confidence of Kilgore

Bombers vs Argos Aug 12 Depth Charts ETC
See the counseling is paying off... Patience...is a long lost art. Todays world of instant gratification is making us all lack patience. Keep it up and maybe more of us on here will find that thing they call "patience".

Week 8 Montréal @ Edmonton
Has the suspension appeal for Carter been dealt with by the league yet?

It's akin to Warren Buffett being fined a million dollars for spitting on the street. He finds that kind of money under his couch cushions.

Disappointing...once again the CFL takes the easy way out. I would have preferred to see a losss of one of their draft picks.

Don't forget that last night was his first game action in more than 2 years. I won't form any opinions until I see him for a couple more games. But you gotta like his size compared to our other receivers

I honestly never got the Canada's team label. I think it was started by rod black a few years back but it never seemed to be hyped by the team itself. I hate the riders like anyone else but I really think this is something that could have happened to any team and more than likely has happened on numerous occasions. This time unfortunately for the riders it was caught. Prior to this season it probably wouldn't have been noticed as the league didn't have the game spotters.

I thought it was one of the best games so far for the d-line. Good pressure on masoli and gable didn't have a lot of success on the ground.

OK...AC retired and many of the rest of the were the same. How did that work out? AC was the straw that stirred that drink. Sure he had good pieces on the team but AC made them all better Without him they couldn't produce the same success.

Do we change our play calling
The defence and ST's both played a full 60 minute game. But yes the offence struggled in the 2nd half. However, in sports this is a common scenario where a team explodes in the 1st half and then comes out flat in the 2nd half. I think the plan for the offence was to protect the ball and ride out the game. So the lack of offensive output was predictable but it still would have been nice to put up a few more points in the 2nd half.

Would the Bomber's record be 3 - 4 if MOS had inserted Matt Nichols when Willy was struggling in game one?
Sorry but no coach would have sat his marquee QB that early in the season. Willy had to be given the opportunity to work thru his funk. So don't go blaming this on Mike O'Shea.

Nope...the guy is an ass and I think we're just now seeing the true Popp. The one that can no longer ride the coat tales of Anthony Calvillo the QB.

Official GDT: vs Ham 08/03/16 Game Day We All Play!
They already have a double header on Thursday night. I doubt they can pull off a third game on the same night. Fridays open as there are no games scheduled which I can only assume is because of the Olympics.

I'm thinking I should set the PVR to record an additional 2 hours just in case

Official GDT: vs Ham 08/03/16 Game Day We All Play!
I'm in a bit of a conundrum. The two wins this year I wasn't able to watch because I was working. Tonight I'm not. I'm thinking I should just PVR it and watch it later and maybe my streak will keep going.

Depth Chart against Edm.
Not picking on Noeller here. Just interesting to go back and read the comments about the roster decisions by our coaches and the comments from the peanut gallery. I'd say that the coaches seemed to have a pretty good grasp of the roster and talent evaluation.

What are some of the other Bomber Message Boards?
I'll still come around every so often but this site is now being dominated by half a dozen posters who ad nauseum say the same thing over and over again. My Internet policy is that I don't write anything on these sites that I wouldn't say to the persons face. Many here have should follow the same policy. Thanks for the great years of Bomber Talk but it's now become a Bomber ***** board with no real football talk.

The Joke that is the Winnipeg Blue Bomber franchise
Agreed but you still need a QB to make the read and get the ball out on time. Ours sees pressure and immediately gets the yips.

Depth Chart against Edm.
Given the amount of injuries, I think the depth chart is pretty good. For all you guys that want a proven vet to take over for every injured player. That's almost impossible in a salary cap world. In most cases an injury replacement is going to be a rookie or a special teams player. It honestly is not a reflection of a lack of depth. The one thing that seems to be missed is some credit to Walters picking up a player like Loffler. Green over Hubbard is essentially a toss up but maybe another two weeks of coaching has improved Green's run coverage. I still think this team is 1 QB away from being competitive.
