As is the case with many, many, of the recruits that the CFL gets to pick from the problem with Thorpe was his attitude. There are literally hundreds of TJ Thorpes that have come through our league. Great talent but short on brains.

Ekakitie is not a bust. He hasn't been here long enough to be one. Saying Ekakitie is a bust is like saying Muamba was a bust because he rarely played in year one.

Wiecek is just grousing because he doesn't get to sit in the back of the media scrum munching on free donut's and Timmies coffee, while the team spoon feeds him his 500 words, that he will then twist and distort completely. Now he has to actually ask questions and stuff and formulate his anti-Bomber rant based on his own though processes. This scares him....and so it should. "Shock" journalists hate it when the truth comes out prior to deadline.

IF the guy is another Nic Grigsby or TJ Harris, and it appears to be looking that way based on Osh's comments, then his attitude will be his undoing. There is no questioning his talent, but he will have to get it between the ears before he will be a successful long term professional. I am glad we moved him out if that's the case.

Very rare animal outside of Saskatchewan, but they are known to identify and then stalk people who have angered them and then defecate on their driveway. Not known for their intelligence though, so you may be able to distract them in the future with shiny objects and pictures of their female relatives.

Lapo is not Dave Dickenson, they have different styles. That does not make Lapo's style poor though? Lotsa ways to skin a cat, Lapo's ball control offence is time proven and he is an excellent play caller and makes excellent in game adjustments and progressions throughout the season. A very effective offence, that is shown in both the stats and the standing to be one of the best in the CFL.

Lankford is no Quincy McDuffie but he's not bad either. He is neither great or bad at what he does. He earns his salary which is likely quite a bit less than what McDuffie is making now. Not that he's done a bad job at receiver, but he is a receiver that we should be looking to upgrade on.

Tate is a wingnut. He's talented but he has even gone on record saying he prefers to be back up because that way he doesn't get hit.

Tate is allergic to contact. Extremely easy to get him off his game.

A few thoughts... Who cares why we are the loudest...it is irrelevant...we are the loudest. It is no secret that Rider fans live in a bubble of their own creation. Only way to endure 100 years of futility is to lie to yourself about it. The moose dying sucks but will make a wonderful addition to the freezer of a low income old folks home on a reserve somewhere.

Jones had a hard time fielding 21 NATs last game. Doubt he is trading any NATs off his roster right now.

You got that right. Even Migs has been semi-retired for the past few years. Only came crawling out when his team fluked out a couple wins.

Never ceases to amaze me how people feel obligated to pass judgement on other posters reactions.
