Hey, if they are proud that he is the 2nd rate MOP candidate in the West...so be it I guess. Yet another asterisk to put beside a Rider accomplishment. No media can ever take away the fact that Harris was the best player in the CFL this year. They can vote him down from receiving an award for it, but they simply cannot ever change the accomplishment itself. If whoever wins the MOP and MOC awards are happy knowing they are the best of the leftovers....all the power to them.

Why bother arguing with TBurg? He comes on here, sees which way popular opinion is blowing then holds onto his hat and walks directly against the wind. His opinion is formed only when he knows what everybody else's opinion is. If the vast majority of people here were in favor of Harris's exclusion he most likely would have been arguing that Harris should have been included. He relishes the role of contrarian, when you argue with him it scratches that itch.

What's worse is that the MOP and MOC awards this year now come with an asterisk to whoever wins them. Our media didn't just rob Harris, they cheated the winner of the awards by keeping a top candidate out of the running.

Fajardo is an average QB at best who is actually quite easily rattled, and is getting a lot more attention than he deserves because this hasn't exactly been the year of the QB in the CFL due to every starter going down. If all QBs are healthy he is 4th or maybe even 5th best in the West. It's a big step up for the Riders to get some semblance of an offence, but they haven't seen one since 2013 so their minds are blown a little easier than normal.....kinda like how we are fawning over the "great" Zac Collaros because he has a decent passing game after the Bombers went a long stretch without one.

Wolitarsky is a dependable possession receiver. Nothing more. He may develop into a 1000 yard guy but this year he has struggled to get open. Last year he had a coming out party, but he is not a guy that will ever take the top off coverages or win a lot of battles in man to man. He needs other receivers to create space for him and we don't have those guys right now.
