That Panthers/Lightning series is gonna be awesome. I remember the Sharks/Kings series in 2015. That was some of the best hockey I have ever watched. I think this series could top that. Yes everyone knows that. Everyone outside of the GTA at least.

Hellebuyck 2 shutouts in last 3 starts. That bodes well. Need to be air tight going up against McDavid and Co.

I think the issues stem from leadership. This recent slide reeks of 2019. Jets couldn't win a game to save their life and grab hold of 1st in the Central. Same crap here in 2021. There was no Matt Hendricks to parachute in to help bring backing to Wheeler's leadership. All I hear, albeit unconfirmed, is that Wheeler is a terrible leader, and he's grooming Schiefele to be just like him. I don't know if Maurice is also the problem, but he's certainly not helping anything by letting the "locker room take care of it themselves". Jets need new leadership IMO and I think Lowry is the guy for this team. We also need some more size and sandpaper. Buff's loss was a huge detriment.

Lowry should be the next captain of this team. Jets need a different style of leader.

Our d better be overhauled next year. Bring in Samberg and Heinola. Get rid of Beaulieu and Benn. Heinola pair with Morissey. Pionk with Samberg. Stanley with Poolman/Demelo. Keep Forbort as 7th defenceman. These guys need to grow at the NHL level and now. Better sign a top 2 d and give Forbort his walking papers.

Whatever momentum they had from scoring just had been given away with some lacklustre play. Ottawa is beating the Jets to almost every puck battle. I agree to say it but this may be loss #7 in the last 8 games.

Hello 4th place. When we lose on Wednesday, MTL will have 3rd place all to themselves. Technically we stiill have the tie breaker but we are free falling.

Ffs this team is infuriating. 4th best powerplay but how many short handed opportunities have we given up. Doubtful. Too late to make a coaching change. And didn't they just extend him?

I still maintain that the Jets have a better chance against the Leafs then they do against Edmonton. So 4th place isn't great but I doubt there is any real home ice advantage in these playoffs. Still the Jets play of late is extremely concerning and nothing suggests this team is ready for playoff hockey. We need some w's in the column though to at least build some confidence or it's another first round exit.
