  1. Bailey. All heart. What a nice message to Sarah
  2. A side note. Is anyone impressed with Prukop? He reminds me Streveler in a lot of ways. Maybe not quite as good but fast, strong, and decent arm.
  3. Things are getting weird here! Anyways wow Zach looks good. 3 TD’s, 93 percent passing completion.
  4. Two bad teams duking it out.
  5. Not only that.. it was 49 yards, angled perfectly with very little return. It was a thing of beauty.
  6. Just in time for the playoffs hopefully. I love his potential. A healthy, and improved secondary could be the difference to help us get that three peat.
  7. In a close game like this, gotta give a star to legs with the gutsy 55 yard field goal, and 49 yard punt on a play that should have been a block.
  8. Good for him! A lot of former Bombers are sticking with their NFL clubs. This is great for recruiting. Not only being two x champions but for the guys with NFL aspirations, come to Winnipeg, ball out, win a lot of games and get your exposure and get an NFL contract. Win win!
  9. Different regime, totally incompetent compared to what we have now.
  10. Wouldn’t be surprised if Winnipeg was one of them. We needed a receiver at the time and the Minnesota/Manitoba connection would make a lot of sense.
  11. I really love how Oliveria was playing. Tough yards. He averaged 7.5 yards per carry against Calgary but only had a long of 10. That means he was getting 7-8 yards almost every play. Really puts your O in a good spot when you’re dealing with second and short.
  12. So interesting enough.. Brady Oliveria is leading the CFL in rushing now and after a tough start he’s averaging 4.6 yards per carry. This is really great to see!
  13. Would love to see him back if he can’t catch on with an NFL club.
  14. Exactly. He did everything and more for the Jets. Why bother taking away reps from a guy they like in White if there was no way Streveler was going to make the roster. Just a huge mess in my opinion. Hopefully another team brings him after this. I think he could play as a third stringer, and utility player in the right circumstance.
  15. And that’s why the Jets are the Jets and haven’t won anything in 60 years. He’s the only QB this pre season for the Jets do something. What’s the point of keeping a 38 year old Flacco around as your back up? You’re not going to win much this year anyways, might as well see what these young guys can do if Zach Wilson is injured.
  16. It’s time to cut him before somebody on his own team or an opposing team gets seriously hurt again.
  17. Not a good look for the CFL. We need stability from the owners. Playing musical chairs with owners is bad for the integrity of the game. It’s definitely concerning.
  18. Exactly we lost so many close games from 2016-2018 that we could have won, that maybe we should have won but let’s be honest we just weren’t good enough yet, good teams will keep you in a game, great teams will get through with the W
  19. I don’t think their defense is that good. They’re allowing 24 points a game and they haven’t even played us yet. They have a decent linebacking core, and a few good players but that’s about it, I see them as a middle of the road defense.
  20. Can I give a dishonourable mention to Malik Henry? The clown bulldozes the ref and starts laughing and celebrating and doesn’t even check on the ref he steamrolled.
  21. Yeah having a healthy Demski makes a world of a difference. Having two YAC guys like Demski and McRae in your offense made Zach’s job that much easier out there.
  22. Glue guys like Gauthier and Briggs is what the CFL is all about. The unsung heroes who work their tail off, play ST’s and can give you a play or two when you need it on defence.
  23. He has more pressure in his face. He’s not able to always plant his feet and throw, the ball tends to hang out in the air a little more when it’s all arm and there’s a defender coming down on you.
  24. Calgary’s defense is hot garbage. For how close it’s been we’ve been able to move the ball with will all three games we’ve played against them. In particular our running game. That’s two games against them now where we’ve had over a 150 rushing yards. Anyways it’s nice to see us sweep Calgary, playing them three times in the first eleven weeks is tough but thankfully we came through when it mattered. I knew Maier was going to give us trouble I thought he was the real deal last year. He was very poised in the pocket last night and has the arm strength to make those side line throws, but ultimately we got it done when it mattered. Getting three first downs to end the game was sweet, the offence couldn’t be stopped all game and we were able to run out the clock.
  25. It’s always a nice feeling on game day to crack open your first beverage of the day. I know it makes me sound like an alcoholic but I assure you I am not, alcoholics admit they have a problem!
