It makes sense. He was better in game 2 than game 1 and seems to be improving. Hall was worse in game 1 than game 2 and frankly looks as he did last year: weak arm, inability to scramble, turnover prone and the offense looks stagnant.

For a "smart" QB, Hall makes some poor decisions such as not eating a sack to keep the shot a 3 points.

Henoc will be in Indy this year so the point is Moo. However you can buy a much nicer house in Winnipeg than you can in Toronto for less $$$. Plus you don't lose $ for a provincial pension fund.

I think the addition of the extra DI spot allows Maher to make the team. He looks really good too. So does Liram H too. Both are an improvement over Palardy and Deangelis.

Drew Wiley looks like an actual starting QB, that alone is a huge improvement.

OL and some of the receivers look well iffy.

Hopefully Saskatchewan, Hamilton or Calgary cuts an OL or two that we can use.

I think right now its January-Greaves-Morley-Knapp-Neufeld to start the season with Goosen as the 6th OL. Maybe by Labour Day Gossen can start and Morley can shift to guard. Although hopefully a nice NI Guard shakes loose.

Absolutely not. I have been local about that exact issue. "Oh but, we're non-partisan." Right... On this we agree. My union does many good things. Wages are good, excellent pension plan, good medical benefits etc but these two things I really dislike.
