TO - Argos - What to do about attendance
Thanks for the insight. In Vanvcouver it sounds like they are making a push to get more fans in the stand with reduced ticket prices/buddy tickets. Assuming the ammount of concession sales should offset some of this (if they get the proceeds). Just a tad worrisome for me seeing the only real sports league i really enjoy.. I like hockey, but the 80 game time commitment is hard with a young family. My son loves bomber games, mainly so he can run around on the field afterwards.

TO - Argos - What to do about attendance
I knew it was bad and it didn't look very good, but here (https://www.sportsnet.ca/football/cfl/cfl-takeaways-andrew-harris-continues-dominate/_) it listed that the argos had just over 10 000 at the game. That is horrible. I thought 20 000 in other places was sad enough. But.. 10 000. This is not good for the league or the team obviously. Didn't they get 20 k at the sky dome? If your attendance is that bad, would it not be better to discount the tickets greatly or do two for one deals to get people in the stands and re-coup some of the lost ticket sales in concessions/merch sales? The stadium looks like a great place to watch the game, but whats the issue here? Such a large market, yet, barely anyone shows up to watch?

Game Day Thread- Week Five: Winnipeg @ BC July 14, 2018
Burnham pushed off. Regardless of how hard, that's normally a penalty. Bombers aren't good enough.

Around the League: 2018 Season
I disagree.. I think its more to do with the years of failing to do anything, with sprinkles of strong teams that don't win the cup. I mean, I think we have a very strong team, but i don't expect people to respect us or give us credit when we have flamed out in the playoffs when we have made it. Essentialy, having a good team means nothing if you can make it to the grey cup or win it.

Something to cheer about!
I would buy an unlimited amount of popcorn to watch the circus explode. The saSk Tweet about our QB seems pretty funny right now. Sask is in a world of hurt in the third year of the Chris Jones Era. I mean, We suffered through the Mike Kelly circus and it looked like we were almost gonna go into season 2 until the charges were made by his Ex. one season was bad enough. 3 seasons, maybe a forth seems fitting for Sask.

Saturday: Do Bombers Win Doubleheader?
I like these discussions. So keep it up. Keeps me from migrating to other sites for content. I worry that BC will have a bounce back game and the blown coverage Jennings missed on last weekend won’t be missed this time around. I think we have a good chance to take the win if the defence continues to pressure Jennings/Lully and our offence can keep moving the ball down the field eating up the clock. We have an immensely talented team but I think DC is the sore spot that is the last remaining piece before we are the next generations Calagary team.

We don't know for sure. He may well be better then Bridge who tends to run around and get sacked. But it would give them a CFL vet as a fall back. Either way..

Around the League: 2018 Season
Not sure its Petty at all. He made a decision in is best interest, and i think the bombers should do the same. Unless Sask is willing to pay for his rights, around 75k, or are willing to take over his previous bonus payment and some picks, then the bombers should do nothing. The bombers would not see any benefit by making the Riders better (aaaahahahahahahah) by giving them Durant for nothing.

Around the League: 2018 Season
**** Durant and the Riders. Durant essentially told Us to **** off by retiring after taking the Bonus. So Durant can Sit there all season long. I'm not clear on how retirement works, but i assume if he wants to unretire, his rights are owned by the bombers for the length of his contract?
