My picks are MTL and BC. With a MTL and WPG grey cup. MTLs defense is solid, especially their secondary. They have weapons on O all over and a QB who can put the ball where it needs to be AND has been there and done it in the playoffs....well except win it all. I would like to see a Collaros vs Harris Grey cup. Two guys who came into the league together under Ricky Ray.

Fair enough. I love dashing other teams hopes and dreams too though. That GC win against Hamilton in their own barn was fantastic. Watching Banks and Simoni walk away empty handed again while the Bombers partied in their stadium was just amazing

What do you even say about TSN anymore. Just mistake after mistake, high school like coverage/highlights/commentary/play by play. They don't care, that much is obvious. I wish the CFL had options around TV coverage.

It was equally horrible during the SSk/CGY game....well Suitor was. You'd think Fajardo was some kind of legend in Regina with a decade of playoff wins and at least 1 championship win. The way he kept comparing the Bo/Fajardo situations was ridiculous. No Suitor....its not going to be odd that Fajardo won't be a rider anymore...its only been 3 years. Not even if you take the short season into consideration. Bo was at least a legit legend in CGY and actually did something there. My gawd, Suitor was so horrible during that entire game it was impossible to watch without muting.

Ford seems to be the real deal. His quickness jumped out at me. He could be a real gem if he continues to progress.

Honestly though, I think you're reading too much into what people are putting down here. The people who are saying they don't like him, from what I gather are saying it because of the jersey he wears not because of the talent he has/doesn't have. As far as I can see, most people want him to succeed because of the reasons you listed, it would be great for the league. That doesn't make him untouchable from other fans...or free from jokes about the attention he is getting. I ******* hated AC when he played, it doesn't mean I thought he was trash. I just didn't want him to do well against the Bombers. Likewise with Rourke, I think the media needs to put more respect on the way the Bombers handled him when he played a game against them. That does not mean I think he is a **** QB. I also think he will get an NFL shot due to his talent. That does not mean I think he should be put on the levels of the Fluties/Ray/AC/Collaros/Moon etc etc. It's hard to believe, but 2 things can be true at once.

When you put context to what people are saying there's really not a lot of lane switching going on. Please, and feel free to use Google, name a CFL starting QB who has made less than 100k and put up the #'s he has? He is going to get a raise and there will be interest. That doesn't mean the non stop hand jobs from the media aren't getting to be a bit much.
