Coach Mike' Everything is' O'Shae
Well that was a hilarious read. Everyone has a right to say what they want here. And everyone else has a right to disagree. But just because I don’t want to talk non-stop about the bombers shitty play doesn’t mean I’m “standing by while the house crumbles around me and the world stop spinning and will gladly go along with whatever they say!” And just cause I won’t say Willys 4th quarter play deserves some praise doesn’t mean I want the entire organization lined up in front of a firing squad. If some of us would just stay away from the extremes, even when baited into them. Things would be a lot more mature around here. But hey it is the internets….soooo… GOOOOOOO **** YOURSELF SASKATCHEWAN!!!!!! The only truly wrong opinion in this thread was that no one is entertained by the gif thread. Cause I certainly am.

Week 3 (vs Ham...Now With Depth Chart)
Solid win. All 3 teams have areas to improve. But the best part about last nights game was the overall improvement. Steps in the right direction. No kicking ourselves in the teeth (every time). Taking two steps forward, then another 2 forward. Need to start converting 3's into 7's. But Im just glad they have started to play to their potential.

Week 3 (vs Ham...Now With Depth Chart)
you're memory serves you correctly. I'm also hoping to see a turn around like that. But that type of turn around isn't the norm. Saying that, we certainly have the talent on this team to be more competitive than we have been!

I agree. I was just commenting on how obvious that play was, and that the refs are supposed to be watching for head hits to QB's. But it was still missed.

Around The League Regular Season Discussion
yeah that play was pretty obviously a head hit. And considering they made this rule specifically for the qbs....I don't understand how it was missed. Just horrible CFL refs...as per the usual

CFL should use more amateur rules!
I like the theory behind this idea. But putting it into practice will be a mess.

Anyone know what is up with Henoc? I'm a big Wild fan, but I'm not blind to the fact that he struggled against Messam (not the only one who did). With him and Steele being in the West, I'd like to think we have someone who can take on the power backs. But after CGY, I'm not sure we do.

He had a solid one last year in BC when injuries gave him the starting job. Looked fairly decent. Should be a solid player for edmonton.

So who's worth keeping?
Did you not see the riders defence last year? Their Offence wasn't why they lost all those games. Either way, Hall isn't going anywhere. His Defence isn't why the Bombers are losing.

But if he's paying attention, and he sees the qb not getting things together quickly enough. Why not call a timeout? Maybe he didn't notice his QB wasn't getting things together quickly enough....but then wtf was he paying attention to? I know we're talking about a few seconds, and its hard to make those decisions at the time. And you know if this was the first time the bombers have had time management issues under Oshea, I'd understand. But it isn't.

And the mental mistakes are still there. By MOS I mean. That clock management yesterday was maybe the worst I've ever seen when you take into consideration how often something similar to that has happened in the last two years.

that's too bad for MTL and Green. It's gonna be really hard to come back from that.

yeah there's got to be more to the story.

No more patience. ....
after they let the time run out at half without scoring my patience has run pretty damn dry. Not completely, but I would really like to see Nichols have some time when Willy struggles to move the ball. I'm not saying that it was Willys fault for that half time fiasco either. Just saying the team needs to be shook up. There seems to be no life, no heart nothing. And it's painful to watch. Letting the time run out like that, speaks volumes about how much MOS/LAPO/HALL and ultimately Willy is in control. Absolutely no excuse to let that happen (again). Tired of seeing mental mistakes like that in a 3rd year coach/team. I honestly couldn't believe it when I was watching.

keys to beating calgary.
To be fair, there was the drop by Smith you mentioned, then the over throw to Smith down the middle where he had beat everyone that would have been a TD and another over throw by Willy to Smith on a corner route that certainly had the potential to be a TD, and another miss opportunity to Adams down the sideline that would have been 6. Soooo there was more than the one dropped ball. There was plenty of opportunities that they missed.

I'm too old to know what IWWT means. Industrial Water Way Treatment? Illinois Wireless wind tunnel?

cautiously excited for week two
1st there's no way of knowing Walters didn't try to get Glenn. 2nd I believe he was injured when we ended up trading for Nichols 3rd I thought Glenn didn't go to MTL till close to the end of the year, if I'm remembering correctly that likely means he wasn't available until well after the Bombers were trying to save the season.
