  1. my thinking too. He played really well. I'm fine with him coming into next year as the starter!
  2. The other part is, how has Richards not been able to even get a look in this O. Is he still that far off?
  3. about time. I've always believed Kohlert could be a top CND rec in this league, but his play has dropped considerably. I've also believed that JFG has been under used since joining the bombers. So hopefully he performs well this week and makes another couple of clutch grabs!!
  4. It's also everyone's first year in this system. While I think things could be better, I'm willing to give them a break due to it being new. Next year at this time I'm hoping (assuming Lapo isn't a HC somewhere) things will be better than they are now. Saying that I still think our O is better than what the stats say. For the most part they've been able to put drives together when they needed to be. Big plays, solid runs, long drives etc. The bombers have gotten it done in almost every way you could want all year long.
  5. I'm so glad the talks have stalled. I hope Jones lets him walk!
  6. Glenn and the Bombers (not the argos) first round draft pick for franklin? too steep? maybe. What does edmonton need that the bombers have?
  7. does the game start at 6 or 7 tonight?
  8. You legit just described my situation, except I don't bring my son yet (he's two).
  9. Do you happen to sit in 211? Cause there's one behind me, that's the worst!!!

Not true at all. At this point in the year, you don't make a QB change to win the game. You make to protect your starter. There's zero reason to believe Davis/Glenn would have changed anything. However Nichols was out there taking hits for no reason.
  12. I agree with what you're saying about the culture of fear. But anyway. Where I grew up, you definitely needed to lock your doors. And that part of the movie exaggerated the culture we have in Canada. Made an attempt to make it seem like we live in a utopia where no one is afraid of anyone else so we never lock our doors. Which just isn't true. ANYWAY...picks Ottawa? I"m guessing he hasn't seen Burris play in the cold.
  13. god i hate rider fans.
  14. Thanks for the write up. I will say though, I don't know who Mr. Moore talked to, but I sure as hell lock my doors when I leave. Hell I lock my doors when I'm home during the day. That part of his movie was some what....exaggerated.
  15. Self preservation and no fumbles!
  16. lol No. Considering one guy on that list is our CND rec who will never ever be a yac contributor and the other is someone who is our clutch rec/TD machine. Hard to get yac yards when your catching passes in the endzone. or two yards away from it.
  17. Denmark is only on that list cause all he does is, CATCH TD's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. Yeah some odd memories around Macho for sure. He wasn't playing horribly. In fact it seemed most were fairly surprised how well he was doing...me included, besides the missed tackle here or there, he played fairly well. Saying that, I hope he doesn't see the field for us ever again. Not a knock against him, I just really like Loffler!
  19. No he won't be. He's starting/finishing the game unless he's injured.
  20. I believe all the talent you mentioned were replaced with guys who were on the roster last year, with the exception of Singleton (who was thought be a great player in the making during the draft) and Daniels...DD didn't need to go find anyone... I stand by my point of no adversity.
  21. That might work if they weren't on completely opposite ends of the spectrum
  22. All that proves is my previous point...that DD was handed a championship calibre team..those include depth. He hasn't faced any great adversity yet when it comes to injuries.... due to great depth. There's no poor play reasons, no poor coordinators to overcome, no cnd depth shortages. None of which have anything to do with his HCing skills. I'm not saying he's a bad coach, I just don't think you can say what DD has done this year proves that MOS was **** his first year. The 2014 BB and the 2016 stamps are in very different positions when it comes to talent level/depth.
  23. To be fair, he hasn't faced nearly as much adversity as any other rookie HC in a very long time. It's easy to look good, when everything goes your way.
  24. Yeah it's not the stamps have ever took a half of football off during this season.....nope, not once, or even twice, or even ever!!! You do realize that a coach can only do so much right? You can't actually stop players from taking penalties, or not playing properly for 4qrts. Well I guess you could, but you'd need a much bigger roster. This thread is hilarious. Dickenson isn't the greatest coach of all time. He was legitimately handed a Champion calibre team. It's not hard to see why he's been so successful. MOS took a very different path to get to success, it being different doesn't devalue it. The amount of time it took doesn't devalue it. It's just different.
  25. yeah those rules are annoying. And kill the kick returns, which is one of my favourite parts of football. But other than that, this years games have been extra boring. Monday nights game, was a battle of who sucks the least. It's just not fun to watch.
